Survivor’s Remorse has some new company. Deadline reports Isaiah Washington, Vanessa Bell Calloway, and Neal McDonough have joined season four of the Starz TV show.
From LeBron James and Mike O’Malley, the comedy follows the life of a hard working, young basketball star who is thrust into the limelight after signing a huge contract with a pro basketball team in Atlanta. The cast includes Jessie T. Usher, RonReaco Lee, Erica Ash, Teyonah Parris, Tichina Arnold, and Mike Epps.
Season four of Survivor’s Remorse is slated to debut this summer on Starz.
From Deadline:
Washington will play Rodney Barker, the estranged and incarcerated father of Cam (Usher) who is on a journey of forgiveness and redemption as it relates to the sins of his past. Calloway will play Missy Vaughn’s (Teyonah Parris) mother, Camille Jordan, a business executive and DC civil rights activist who wants more for her daughter. McDonough is Brian Powers, a Bostonian business man from Cam’s (Usher) old neighborhood.”

The strength of this series is character depth. Everyone has a story worth telling. Lucky for us,the viewers,we get to see it rather than hope for it. Needless to say, the return of this season is much anticipated.
