Will The Alec Baldwin Show soon be gone for good? ABC just announced the low-rated TV show has been postponed and moved to a different night.
The talk show features Baldwin as he conducts one-on-one interviews with American pop culture luminaries. Previous guests have included Kate McKinnon and Jerry Seinfeld.
While it’s unclear if ABC is cancelling The Alec Baldwin Show, the series won’t return until Saturday, December 8th at 10 p.m. ET/PT. So far, the freshman series is averaging a very low 0.31 rating in the 18-49 demo and 1.749 million viewers. With numbers like those, a cancellation after one season seems certain.

I don’t think Alec Baldwin’s talk show should be cancelled. It’s interesting and better on Saturday when there’s little on. He’s a good interviewer.
I have watched every episode & enjoyed this show. Baldwin asks intelligent questions and creates in depth conversations — unlike the late night shows. Those shows are merely brief interviews to hawk a movie TV or book project. Baldwin seems genuinely interested in his guest and contributes to the conversation. I hope it stays on the air
Alec Baldwin is a superb interviewer. I suspect that ABC chose him because of his excellent podcast and his wide ranging knowledge of both politics and entertainment. His probing questions regarding the important moments in the life of his guests and how they became who they are is unique in television interview shows. This is not a show in which a guest is there to merely promote their latest project. Baldwin interviews are revelatory. I thoroughly enjoyed the show! It’s soft peaceful calm in this era of everything so heightened was refreshing and to me it was a side of Alec Baldwin that I had no idea existed! I think it’s sad to see it go
I like this show, the relaxed conversational format is so refreshing. I appreciate seeing/hearing celebrity people as “regular” people.
Is Alec Baldwin a perfect human being, no, but neither is anyone else. Don’t judge lest you be judged.
I will continue to support Alec and watch as long a song his show is aired. What happened to the Sarah Jessica Parker airing.

Maybe it would help ratings if people knew the show existed. But I don’t care for talk shows, I’d rather see him playing trump on SNL.
I do not like it, it is just another talk show. I like him on the game show .
CANCEL. He is crazy and needs mental health services including anger management. SNL needs to fire him, too. Remember what he said to his own daughter. Wbere is the Me Too Movement? They should be outraged about his behavior as a father?
I love the show. So vintage classy. Just needs a chance.

I was curious to see what he now brings to TV… truly no talent and brings nothing new. Same old mondane filler. You would thing that with all the experience he has he would at least try to entertain some how. It’s time for his role in the WWF. No good father, actor & role model.
