Airing on the FOX television network, The Cool Kids stars David Alan Grier, Martin Mull, Vicki Lawrence, and Leslie Jordan. The TV show revolves around a loyal but motley crew who live at a retirement community and will break any rule to have fun. Though they may be older, this quartet is far from done with life. The self-proclaimed “cool kids” are determined to make the third act of their lives the craziest and most interesting one yet.
The first season of The Cool Kids on FOX is averaging a 0.85 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.27 million viewers.
Compared to the other FOX TV shows of the 2018-19 season, the sitcom is a middle-of-the-road performer. The series started out really strong but the ratings lost steam as the season progressed.

The Cool Kids is a truly funny show with great writing, a terrific cast. I never missed an episode! And of course your advertisers will be pleased because I found a few I like!

I love The Cook Kids. I feel Fox is making a big mistake cancelling the show. Watching The Cool Kids you can laugh out Loud. Some other comedy shows I watch and there is no funny. That makes you LOL! Shame on you FOX. I hope another network picks them up.

We were really hoping for a season 2. What are the reasons for cancellation? The characters are fun and have great chemistry. The writing is better than a lot of other shows too. One complaint…the laugh track is annoying, but not any more annoying than ALL other shows. It’s almost insulting in how it’s directing us when to laugh. Outside of that, the show was original and really funny!

I watched the show because I liked the people in it, and it wasn’t about 18 year olds like almost every other crap show out there. But, unfortunately, it wasn’t that funny or enjoyable.
Everyone I talk to loves the show. It was my favorite show.
