The second season of The Exorcist wraps tonight, December 15th, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Are you a fan? Do you think FOX should renew the series for a third season?
Based on the 1973 feature film and William Peter Blatty’s 1971 novel, the horror drama follows Father Tomas Ortega (Alfonso Herrera) and former priest Marcus Keane (Ben Daniels) as they uncover unusual cases of evil. The cast also includes Kurt Egyiawan, Zuleikha Robinson, John Cho, Brianna Hildebrand, and Li Jun Li. Christopher Cousins, and Cyrus Arnold.
Based on the ratings, a third season of The Exorcist would be surprising. The series landed a surprise second season renewal last May because the first season’s ratings had been dismal. Season two has done much worse. So far, season two is averaging a 0.42 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 1.33 million viewers, making it one of FOX’s lowest-rated TV shows for the 2017-2018 season.
But ratings don’t always determine a show’s future. Like last year, FOX could give The Exorcist another chance.

Renew please, one of the best shows ever unique, with great actors. I don’t see how more people are not watching it. The 2nd season was better than first I think the 3rd has a lot of promise, it left off with some good story lines to follow. Please renew it!!!!
I believe ”The Exorcist” is a great show that should definitely be renewed. The second chapter was as entertaining and well done as the first one. It goes way beyond the simple themes of exorcisms in horror movies, it’s way deeper and more thought-provoking than what has already been done before in this area.

Season 2 was absolutely brilliant. Creepy cliffhangers & characters. Symbolisms & possession from a different angle was genius. Anxiously awaiting Season 3.

I have watched both one and two and both series are absolutely brilliant and it would be a travesty if it wasn’t renewed for a 3rd series, here in England where I live everyone loves it
RENEW!!!! This show is phenomenal!!!! Very well scripted and an incredibly diverse and inclusive cast. Love the show! One of the scariest shows on tv! This show needs better prompting/advertising and if it were to be on earlier in the week (Tuesday or Wednesday) I believe it would gather an even bigger fan base! Keep the Exorcist alive and please renew for season 3!

This is one of the best shows on fox, so of course they will cancel it lol, very intense and kept me glued. If you are looking for another show kind of similar watch wolf creek seasons 1 and 2.
Please renew this great series. I watch this show for the main cast and the imaginative stories. Good series are few and far between. I hate to lose even one of them.

The best show on Fox. I don’t follow series. When this came out last year I really didn’t expect to like it. I was hooked from the very first episode. If Fox does not renew it, I have no reason to tune into Fox anymore. I love the characters. The characters Marcus and Tomas are awesome actors. OMG they fit their roles to the T. Love them together. Do the right thing and renew.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!! PLEASE renew this show!!!! Oh my gosh I wait and wait every week to see it. There are SO few horror shows on TV. Don’t get rid of a great one! I can’t wait to see what happens next, especially after the priest went after the nurse (my absolute FAVORITE part of last night’s show and of “The Exorcist 3”).
