The second season of The Exorcist wraps tonight, December 15th, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Are you a fan? Do you think FOX should renew the series for a third season?
Based on the 1973 feature film and William Peter Blatty’s 1971 novel, the horror drama follows Father Tomas Ortega (Alfonso Herrera) and former priest Marcus Keane (Ben Daniels) as they uncover unusual cases of evil. The cast also includes Kurt Egyiawan, Zuleikha Robinson, John Cho, Brianna Hildebrand, and Li Jun Li. Christopher Cousins, and Cyrus Arnold.
Based on the ratings, a third season of The Exorcist would be surprising. The series landed a surprise second season renewal last May because the first season’s ratings had been dismal. Season two has done much worse. So far, season two is averaging a 0.42 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 1.33 million viewers, making it one of FOX’s lowest-rated TV shows for the 2017-2018 season.
But ratings don’t always determine a show’s future. Like last year, FOX could give The Exorcist another chance.

PLEASE renew.. As a single disabled veteran, weekends can be quite depressing.. However, The EXORCIST is my guilty pleasure I need that for my weekends or, at this point, any day of the week!!!!!

Renew, i love this show and my daughter does to. Bonding tine for the two of us. Its like supernatural when it first came out not many people knew of it at first than it took off. It’s in it’s 13th season so who knows what will happenn with this one. But i really love the show….
I absolutely love The Exorcist and would be really sad if the show does not continue. It is a great storyline that is just getting started and I enjoy watching this every week. Please don’t cancel this show, if necessary move it to a better time slot than Friday nights and I’m sure you will see that we have a great fan base for this show! Leave my Exorcist alone Fox please!

Please , Please do not cancell this series . I’m such a great big Fan , from the first episode to the last one on 12.15.17 haven’t missed any . Friday’s episode 12/15 had me all teary eyes . When the social worker went to pick up Truck . He is such a sweet character. And when Andy died to the ending when Marcus heard God finally. RENEW please !!!! Because of Disney buying Fox if you have to put in another channel , if you have to. I need Season 3 Big Fan !!!

If FOX cancels SYFY could pick it up. The show is awesome and desires a chance. Seinfeld was not a hit in the beginning.
Definitely renew for a 3rd season. It’s a amazing continuation from a established iconic movie to where your writers have done the impossible. To make it an incredible show that’s stand alone from the Movie.
