Seniors are taking over the mansion in the first season of ABC’s The Golden Bachelor TV show. As we all know, Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Golden Bachelor is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of The Golden Bachelor here.
An ABC dating reality series, The Golden Bachelor TV show is hosted by Jesse Palmer. After decades of Bachelor shows revolving around young love, this new incarnation focuses on the golden years. A hopeless romantic is given a second chance at love in the search for a partner with whom to share the sunset years of life. The women arriving at the mansion have a lifetime of experience, living through love, loss, and laughter. They’re all looking for a spark that ignites a future full of endless possibilities. The first season revolves around 72-year-old Gerry Turner, a retired restauranteur and widower from Hudson, Indiana.
What do you think? Which season one episodes of The Golden Bachelor TV series do you rate as wonderful, terrible, or somewhere between? Do you believe The Golden Bachelor should be cancelled or renewed for a second season on ABC?
Really enjoyed the show.
I must say it was much more enjoyable with an older set of women, at least thus far. I expect there will be a couple of weepy ones in the crowd before it’s over. The Bachelor himself is a breath of fresh air, he seems like such a great guy.I hope he really does find someone who is sincere. 🙂
It was OK. He was very gracious, but some of the women acted stupid, they thought they were 20 yr olds and definitely not becoming. There was only a couple that were attractive.
Golden bachelor had way to many commercials. I was very disappointed in not seeing more of the show that I looked so forward to watching.
