What do you think? Do you like The Mysteries of Laura TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a third season?
love this new show. have watched all 3 episodes and find the characters to be engaging and realistic and funny. hope this one gets a fair chance.
Watched all 3 episodes so far and I have found this show to be a great change of pace. Refreshing. We have enough serious detective drama on already. It was good to have a laughter without it being a comedy sitcom. Debra Messing plays a cute character. I do agree that the twin boys are much too old looking to be preschoolers. Love the new babysitter’s character. Everyone I know who has been watching loves the show too.
Hopefully this won’t be cancelled.
Just saw the first episode, and I thought it was great. I called my daughter right away and told her to find it and watch it. Nice blend of funny and detective work. Yes, the kids are over the top, but match the real life stuff kids—-especially two boys—–do., just more so.
I hope this series is given a chance to develop and not just cancelled too soon because a few critics didn’t like it.
the mysteries of laura tv series should be cancelled. another failure. Great actors, just a terrible concept.
Oh dear. Such a waste of several talented people. The show has absolutely no redeeming features, and will be lucky to survive another week or two. The premise is dire; the plot (such as it is) threadbare and uninteresting. The first episode shows us an unpleasant woman in an ugly dispute with her husband, (not) raising two completely obnoxious children who have not been given guidance or rearing in their dysfunctional family. We have the mother breaking laws (rendering any evidence collected inadmissable) to track a killer, while abusing police databases and the law to blackmail a school into giving… Read more »
Like the mysteries of Laura. Improving every week
So,after carefully reading all the comments so far, just wantd to add that the greedy TV Networks trying to be cute with this show will clearly ruin it and end up getting it cancelled and a disasterous waste of a great actress talent! Rewrite it please!
The irony of Laura’s ex becoming her boss is a fantastic concept that creates enough conflict without the need for children. Plus, the children’s unrealistic behaviors coupled with their dad’s extreme interactions seems an obvious cheap trick in lieu of good writing. Cut the cast, punch up the script and this show could work.
This show has definite possibilities. First time in a long time that I didn’t figure out who done it before the first commercial, which is a plus. Laz is very good to look at, and he can act too. Remember the problem that SVU had in the beginning — no one really cared about the family, which took 15 important minutes away frrom the script. Besides, these children are alreay too old for the part, NYC kids are ages four and five in pre-k. Get rid of the husband too, again in NYC, if married police officers are in the… Read more »
Get rid of the kids for sure, maybe the husband too. “Laura” is acting to cutesy for me. She’s great little actress, but no longer on the silly gay show (which I loved)
DAB
3 thumbs down, don’t care for it. If they get rid of the kids and the husband they may have a show. !!
Really liked it. Little who done it and laughter. Hope it stays
Great new show very funny and serious
Oh come on now Don Young just give this show a chance or are you some kind of womam hater or whatever Don?
Great show, Hope the networks give it a chance…to me it is refreshing…..!!!!
Just a copy of parts of several other cop shows, that has no reason to be, except to fill a time slot to avoid dead air. Being a copy, it is too predictable, and not that interesting. It is certainly not original. I cannot imagine any reason to watch it again.
