Based on the Justin Cronin book trilogy, The Passage stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Saniyya Sidney, Vincent Piazza, Brianne Howey, Caroline Chikezie, Jamie McShane, Emmanuelle Chriqui, McKinley Belcher III, and Henry Ian Cusick. The story centers on Project NOAH, where scientists are working on a virus that may either cure humanity of all disease or, wipe it out entirely. When Federal Agent Brad Wolgast (Gosselaar) is assigned to bring in Amy Bellafonte (Sidney) as a new test subject, he develops fatherly feelings for the child. Meanwhile, the new race of creatures locked up in Project NOAH is testing out their powers and working toward an escape.
The first season of The Passage on FOX averaged a 0.92 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.73 million viewers. Compared to the other FOX TV shows of the 2018-19 season, The Passage has been a middle-of-the-road performer in the ratings.

I would like to see Netflix pick up the books, only a real company can do the effects needed for the books.
I loved the show, if it wasn’t for the show I wouldn’t have gotten the book. I’m so sad they are canceling the show. I was really hoping to see a season 2.
Im so addicted to this show! I hope someone else picks it up for another season! I just binged watched it on Hulu. I’m shocked FOX would cancel such a great show.

Fox you’re dumb asf….I use to love you as a kid, now you’re cancelling all of these shows WITH NO CONCLUSION TO THEM….I was so looking forward to season 2 of passage, but now I can’t because y’all wanna act stupid. I hope another company can pick up this story and make it great because fox is CANCELLED!!!!!

I don’t understand why stupid reality shows are getting renewed but awesome shows like The Passage are cancelled!! So over whoever is making these decisions and their lack of insight as to whether these shows will pick up or not!! None of my friends had seen it and I now have them hooked!! Very, very disappointed!!!
I can’t believe this!! First The Gifted and now The Passage!! WTF. But you leave The Bachelor and Paradise Hotel on the air. What great minds Fox has. I hope Amazon Prime, Netflix, or Hulu picks this up. This is why free TV is dying.

I’m so mad! I loved the book and I think if they had started it earlier and had more episodes people would have watched it. Or at least had the opportunity watch it. Perhaps it was in the wrong time slot. This was a bad move for Fox! I mostly watch ABC shows so I guess this is just more time I can put toward that network instead of Fox! ☹

one of my favorite shows after a few episodes and you cancel it already? getting really turned off on getting into anything these days. too many cartoon and politically correct comedies!
