TV show description:
Developed by writer Liz Heldens, The Passage TV show is based on the Justin Cronin book trilogy of the same name. The thriller series centers on Project NOAH, a secret medical facility at which scientists are experimenting with a virus which could either cure all diseases or destroy all of humanity.
When Federal Agent Brad Wolgast (Gosselaar) is assigned to bring in a new test subject, everything changes for him. The test subject in question is just a young girl, Amy Bellafonte (Sidney). It is not long before Wolgast falls into a paternal relationship with the child and realizes he must protect her, no matter what.
Brad and Amy run up against the top scientists at Project NOAH, including Major Nichole Sykes (Chikezie) and Dr. Jonas Lear (Cusick). The two also have to confront former Navy Operative Clark Richards (Piazza), an old trainee of Brad’s.
As their journey progresses, Brad and Amy meet up with a new race of beings who have been locked inside of Project NOAH. These include former scientist Tim Fanning (McShane), as well as death-row convicts Shauna Babcock (Howey) and Anthony Carter (Belcher).
On the hunt for allies, Brad turners Dr. Lila Kyle (Chriqui), who is also his ex-wife. Meanwhile, as the scientists are getting closer to a potential cure, the new creatures start to try out their powers and work toward an escape, the consequences of which would be catastrophic.
Series Finale:
Episode #10 — Last Lesson
Surprising alliances form and a key figure returns to instill confidence, convincing everyone to fight for their lives.
First aired: March 11, 2019.
What do you think? Do you like The Passage TV series? Should this FOX TV show have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Very sad about this cancellation! Wishing Netflix would pick it up and take it to a new level. Some great acting and intrigue.
This was the only show that I was looking forward to seeing. When it did not premier, I searched the internet to see what happened. I hope Netflix will pick it up. I am very disappointed.
I really liked this show! Kept you guessing and twists and turns. Please stop canceling the good shows!
I enjoyed this show very much and couldn’t wait for the second season to kick off. It was really a let down to find out that it was cancelled. I am hoping that fox will bring it back.
l Really loved this series and was looking forward to the next season.
Hope that Fox will reconsider or that the series will be picked up by someone else
I really loved the Passage…I really hate when you don’t end a series properly
Sucks to become attached to a show that gets canceled. Seems like the better option is to wait till it gets in a few seasons becomes established then binge to catch up. Did that with Game of thrones.
LOVE THE SHOW PASSAGE SO MUCH. ONE BEST SHOW NETWORK. SO SAD THE NETWORK CANCELLED THIS WONDERFUL SHOW. THERE GOES ONE MORE GREAT SHOW. I WISH THE NETWORK RECONSIDER THIS.♡♡♡☆☆☆☆☆
That show was very good.
I am very disappointed 🙁
Please stop cancelling interesting shows
That sucks I really enjoyed that show. It’s not many shows I watch on TV but this one I really like
That really sucks I enjoyed the show a lot I just didn’t have time to watch it
Yeah, disappointed it’s not going ahead for a season 2. I really liked it & thought the characters, Brad & Clarke were especially good ☹️
It’s very sad Passage got cancelled…The young girl star is a very good actress…I hate that we are left hanging….It makes people not want to watch any of new shows because after you get hooked the network cancels it. I will hold off getting involved with any new shows this network after this.
Wow…wth! This show was so good…wonder if it was the timing when it was out?? Either way, should 100% have not been cancelled, acting was great, and the connection between the characters was very believable and good, especially between Brad and Amy. So disappointed…once again – booo!
