The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

This show was great!!!! I would record it on my pvr and watch when I got gome after work it was better that a lot of the crap that’s out there now good acting great story line. I’m do disappointed that they canceled it that’s puting it as nice as I can but not what I’d like to say. I don’t think it should be on Netflix I think it should be put on when it’s not competing with other top shows as it had a good following in the beginning. I think it was a great show wouldn’t say it was the best but great and instead of canceling the show make it a Netflix original cause a lot of viewers hated and a lot loved so instead of putting it in the garbage like that do something for those other thousands of people that would like a season 2
Honestly ,I really like the show. At first I didn’t,but then I really got into it. Every time I watched it, I was always on the edge of my seat. They really shouldn’t have canceled it along with star crossed, I really like that one too.
I just got finished watching this show and all I have to say is AMAZING! I can not believe they cancelled this show. And I am so angry hthat the did. They need to bring it back.
I think that tomorrow people was an incredible show. I believe it has extremely high potential for phenomenally better second season ratings. One of the best shows I’ve ever watched. Just got put in the wrong time slot. I never comment on anything and I never will again. but I felt my lonely voice needs to be heard in this matter. I just got through watching this show on Netflix. I just recently found it. And now I find out it was cancelled?!? I ******* hate the CW for that!! I was always left wanting more after every single episode! Are you ******* serious?!? I am seriously enraged!
