The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I really think there should be more than one season before quits is called. Look how many other shows went through viewing spikes and drops but either did more than one season and are still going or after 2 or 3 canceled. If cancelling this then a cliff hanger should not have been left at the end. Take for instance the show 4400 that pkayed out a few seasons before it truly died. Do a season 2. This is my favorite show!!! I watched all 22 episodes in 2 days. You can’t just leave me hanging!

Please make a aecond season. Put it on netflix. The problem was it was on cw. I never hear of the shows on cw until theyre canceled and show ip on netflix.

Its really disappointing the tomorrow people was canceled. Its not often that you find a series like this, its plot is almost similar to heroes, which was a hit until it was canceled. Both of these shows need to be continued in my opinion.

This show to me was amazing! I felt the storyline and all of the character’s roles. This show has potential to be a long lasting series and to stop it now wouldn’t be the best. But its up to CW so I guess we will see if the fans of this show will get what they want.
really good show, I remember the original and this one worked.
i felt that the story line got a bit weak with the roger character and the lovely Peyton can’t makke up her mind (good cop / bad cop)
however I would love to see more
