The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Please this show was amazing it was my favorite show I have every watched and it had such an amazing story line and CW you guys set it up to be bigger better and the second season will blow the rating off the charts you guys set it up to be a spectacular second season and maybe even more! Great show, saw it on netflixs. I think Netflix should pick up the show and run with it themselves. I don’t watch TV for anything other than football anyway.
I absolutely love the tomorrow people it was so innovative. I HAD NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT. Why oh would there not be a second season? Please oh Please make it happen! Is there anything the fans can do to make it happen?

If you ask me CW just does not know how to schedule their shows, always moving things around! This show was so great! I would have watched it had I known it was on cw! I think cw was holding the show back from what it could have been! I had heard of it on cw but I was so busy watching arrow that I didn’t even think to care about the show! But I just found it on Netflix and watched it all in 2 days! This show and its fans deserve a season 2! Mostly because cliffhangers SUCK!
