The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

I thought it suffered in that you never knew who was going to be the villain from week to week. I thought Peyton was extremely hot. Also there were some many things that could have been done with the 3 t’s instead of cleaning everything up with going back in time. I think the show just lacked good writing and too much teenage angst.
Bring it back!!! The tomorrow people is an awesome to series and you can’t just leave us hanging with the ending of season 1, I watched it on Netflix I seen all of season 1 in 3 days I was addicted. So please bring it back

I NEED TO KNOW AND I LOVED THAT SHOW UNTIL I KNEW THAT THERE WASNT GOING TO BE ANY SEASON 2!!!! That show was amazing and CW needs to bring it back!!!! I love the show the Tomorrow People. I can not believe they ended it and with so many questions. I want season 2 of the Tomorrow People.
You need to at least give us closure seriously……. you can’t leave us with an ending like that.
I think this has to be a huge mistake. This is one of the coolest and the best tv-shows that i have ever seen. I think one of my biggest dreams becomes that: I want a second season and I now that it will not be a mistake if this happened.

It had me wanting to watch more!!! How can they cancel the show when it looked like it was going to get more interesting???? Come on CW let it continue!!!

I just found this on netflix and loved it. I’m a 47 year old mother of 2. Its not easy finding quality shows that appeal to both generations. Make season 2!
