The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

CW can’t cancel this show!!! ugh I love the idea of the whole series, even though I didnt watch it weekly I have been on Netflix. Does this help the show if I am watching it now??!!!
They need to make a season 2 it is an Awsome show and more to come with un answer questions!
the show is left in a never ending cliff hanger and that is not a good way for a network to do business. if they believe that the show is really not worth it, at least allow the chance for those loyal to be able to have some closure from the show and be at peace. i personally enjoyed the show and wish it could go on, at least give the viewers half a season so the network can have a chance to close out the show properly. thats my personal opinion and suggestion.

I can’t believe that the show was cancelled after one season and then it ended with only half of the story which really needs to be told I feel really strongly about this. Somehow the producers or whatever seem to always cancel the shows that I’m actually into.
i don’t usually watch movie but when i got the chance of watching tomorrow people it was fantastic…..and its a big pity there won’t be season two to complete the show….am really sorry and angry
I don’t really watch much television if its not Law and Order or Criminal Minds. The Tomorrow People is one of the best series that I have watched in a long time. My youngest son turned me on to the series on Netflex I watched the whole season in one weekend. Now I’m looking forward to season two. Then I was disappointed to find out the series was cancelled. The way the last episode ended I need more! Please bring the series back.

I’m not sure why I bother watching new series only to get hooked on them and then experience great disappointment when it gets cancelled!! I still have season one on my pvr and plan to keep it there until I can find it on DVD. I was really looking forward to season 2. I guess I will just have to find the books and find out what happens that way.
