The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

The tomorrow people is my favorite show DONT cancel the show you should wait to view the ratings people this is the 21st century we watch tv online and on Netflix its unfair to cancel the show before putting it on Netflix where people watch the show more than on tv cause it ethier come on when they cant watch it cause the show doesnt come on fitting there scheles people that watch the show have jobs family and problems they have to do or fix so they cant watch the show when it comes on and most people dont… Read more »
This show is one of the best I’ve seen. They definently should have made a season two
I am devistated that they canceled the second series. I was so hooked and there was so many possible story lines to lead to. I’ll admit in the middle it got repetitive but nearing the end it became so much better again.
Aw man! This sucks!! I was totally hooked on the show and was looking forward to what might happen in future episodes. I think Netflix should continue the series. That’s where I viewed. Someone please bring back The Tomorrow People.

I agree. I don’t always have time to watch of an evening, so I don’t see many first runs. I found this on Netflix and LOVE it. I checked Google to see when the second season would start and see that it has been cancelled. This is the 2nd show recently that the CW has cancelled that I have really liked. I’m about ready to give up on the CW. They have great shows but they cancel them just when they are getting good.

I really loved the tomorrow people and I’m upset that there isn’t a season 2. This has happened before with other shows and I do not like it. The season finale left not only myself but also others wanting to know what will happen to the characters now that John has no memory of his friends and now that Stephen can manipulate time.
I just watched season 1 and it was awesome. I think there should come a season 2. I really loved it.

It was an awesome series.There should definitely be another season specially the final episode had just what was needed for the start for the next season. All eyes would on John.
The Tomorrow People was one of the best shows I have seen and all of my friends and family watch it on Netflix. Maybe this channel should wait until it is on Netflix because that is where everyone watches TV. I’m going to admit…I was so obsessed and focused on this show, I watched it within a week! Bring back The Tomorrow People!
