The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Why would they cancel such an amazing show? This show was the best. I looked forward to coming over everyday after work to get on Netflix and watch it. Please please please make a second season!!!!
I’ve really enjoyed this series. I’m up to episode 18 but now I’ve found out the series is cancelled. I wish there was something I could do. The petition failed but maybe some other network is open to an interesting show that has a great potential.
This show has probably been the best show I have seen in my life. It had me jumping out of my chair. They defiantly should bring it back.

I just started watching The Tomorrow People on Netflix and I am baffled that The CW even cancelled me and my both love this show!
The ending of the last episode left too many unanswered questions. They need to do a second season so that they know for sure that it won’t last instead of stopping after the first season.

I think they should continue a season 2. I love This show. I was crying , laughing, and scared in every episode . I loved the thrill of it. I loved the fact that Astrid loved Stephen but fell in love with John. Also that Cara was jealous of Hillary. I really loved how Stephen saved the world. But also how Astrid and John kissed at the end .The show is AWESOME, amazing, magnificent, and I love it. I was so sad that there wasn’t going to be a season 2.

What the heck, why would they cancel such a fantastic show, please bring this show back, I just started watching it on nextflix, I was hooked from the pilot.. Love all the characters and the plot of the show is brilliant.. You guys really need to stop cancelling good shows, change the day it airs dont cancel the show without even ending it. CW im so disappointed..

I thought the show was awesome! I was addicted! Was looking forward to learning more about tomorrow people.. I’m a big comic book nerd as well.. The viewers you had were the true fans and I’m sure eventually the number would have doubled.. Sorry u need a trillion fans to keep an awesome show going.. It sucks for us 🙁
