Is the LAPD Chief in over her head in the first season of the Tommy TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Tommy is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of Tommy here. *Status update below.
A CBS dramatic series, the Tommy TV show stars Edie Falco, Michael Chernus, Adelaide Clemens, Thomas Sadoski, Russell G. Jones, Olivia Lucy Phillip, Joseph Lyle Taylor, and Vladimir Caamaño. The series revolves around a former high-ranking NYPD officer who becomes the first female chief of police for Los Angeles. Abigail “Tommy” Thomas (Falco) uses unflinching honesty and hardball tactics to keep social, political, and national security issues from hindering effective law enforcement in the Southland.

Please renew this show. My husband and I watched every episode and truly enjoyed them. We do delayed watching due to our schedules and perhaps are not counted as real fans. Do bring it back!

Why do the TV moguls always cancel the best shows? TOMMY was intelligently written, acted and directed and a show we looked forward to all week. We were afraid when we watched the last show of this season that it WAS being cancelled as all the loose ends were tied up so quickly. They did leave a window to renew by suggesting that the Mayor was going to be investigated… Fingers crossed that the powers-that-be rethink this and bring Tommy back!
Show – Tommy – after thinking about it for a day — still should have lasted longer—with the quality of talent alone any station should have welcomed that as a driving force for success….would have been interesting to tally the silent majority of viewers…all viewers have purchase power……was good while it lasted….
Please renew Tommy it’s a really great show. I literally watched all 12 episodes in one day. I think cbs has failed to understand that we are in an age of binge watching so rating take time to pick up. Please consider renewing the show for another season.

It has interesting story lines and super cast. Was looking forward to several seasons.
Please reconsider bringing Tommy back for another season. I enjoyed the story lines and the cast had great chemistry. Take off “The View” and other shows like that. Tommy was a Feel Good show and finally had a woman in charge!!!
Please reverse your decision to cancel Tommy. Writing and acting are great. Characters are endearing. Give it a chance.
I enjoyed this show. Well written and the acting was phenomenal. I guess it was not violent enough for younger viewers. Please don’t cancel Blue Bloods or Magnum. I need quality shows that entertain me and don’t keep me up at night. Tommy was one of them. At least it ended the way a Final episode should:(

Please reconsider cancelling Tommy. I watched every episode and thought they were great. The cast was excellent & worked well together. The storyline was exciting with interesting topics. I am tired of so many reality shows, ridiculous game shows, & even more ridiculous comedies. You finally had a new interesting drama with an excellent cast & you cancelled it? Ridiculous!
I hope CBS rethinks the decision of cancelling Tommy. I don’t think it was really given a chance. It only ran a half season and premiered right before the pandemic we are faced with.
Would you please consider giving Tommy another season!! We were really enjoying it…
