TV’s about to get shaken up. Variety reports that Kevin Bacon has just signed on for a TV reboot of Tremors.
Bacon originally starred in the 1990 film as Valentine McKee, a handyman who takes up arms against some mysterious subterranean monsters along with the other inhabitants of a small Nevada town.
The film went on to spawn four sequels and a short-lived Syfy TV series in 2003.
Bacon will return as McKee for the series. No network has signed on yet, but Variety says “multiple venues are hot on the project.” Andrew Miller is set to write.
What do you think? Are you a fan of the Tremors franchise? Do you think it needs a TV series?
sounds retarded
Loved Tremors and LOVE KEVIN BACON!
I am just sorry that The Following won’t be picked-up by Netflix. But I suppose Kevin Bacon COULD do both??
