What’s This TV Show About?
Streaming on the Disney+ subscription service, the Turner & Hooch TV series is a continuation of the 1989 movie of the same name. It stars Josh Peck, Carra Patterson, Lyndsy Fonseca, Vanessa Lengies, Brandon Jay McLaren, Jeremy Maguire, Anthony Ruivivar, Reginald VelJohnson, and Becca Tobin. In the show, ambitious and buttoned-up US Marshal Scott Turner (Peck) inherits a big, unruly, and slobbery French Mastiff named Hooch, much like his father (Tom Hanks in the movie) did. He soon realizes that the dog he didn’t want may actually be the partner that he needs. Scott’s family includes his sweet and animal-loving sister, Laura (Fonseca), and Matthew Garland (Maguire), Laura’s dog-loving son. At work, Scott’s brave and street-smart partner is Jessica Baxter (Patterson). Xavier Wilson (McLaren) is a cool and enigmatic marine-turned-US Marshal. Chief James Mendez (Ruivivar) is Scott’s boss who secretly has a soft spot for Hooch. Erica Mounir (Lengies) is the quirky head of the US Marshals’ dog training program.

Telly’s Take
Unless they decide to publicize viewership, it is difficult to predict whether Disney+ will cancel or renew Turner & Hooch for season two. Since Disney+ isn’t ad-supported, it can take a chance on series it believes in. This show is tied to a well-known movie and fits well with the Disney brand so I think it will be renewed. I truly loved Turner and Hooch. It was the most fun I’ve had watching a TV show in a long, long time. I would be so disappointed if it wasn’t renewed. I didn’t want season 1 to end. I loved everything about this show.
My family loves the show and we hope you keep it going. We also have a Dogue de Bordeaux. Witch makes the show that much better. Anyone else that had one of these dogs would understand.

Ok, so yes it can be cheesey, ridiculous at times, and have unrealistic outcomes – to ADULTS! But this is Disney – and our 10 year old absolutely LOVES this show. He looks forward to us watching EVERY Wednesday. He laughs the entire show and even gets the “romance” between Scott & Erica. And if the truth be told, Mom & Dad ended up looking forward to this show we watch together as a family!!!
PLEASE renew this series!!!
Please renew Turner and hooch for a season 2 and 3 loved season 1 sad to see it over. Want to see Scott date the dog trainer and X still partners with him. Love the series.
I just finished the last episode of season one and I need more this was the best thing about my week was getting up wednesday morning and watching the newest episode of turner and hooch 100% should get more seasons
U should 100%renew the show Turner and hooch I’m tired of really liking a show and then it gets cancelled just because it’s not the most popular in ratings ..so wat there is still so many people who do watch it and I absolutely love this show
I didn’t think I was going to like it, as most new shows, the 1st episode was rather lame, introducing cast members, new members getting their feet wet. I have watched the entire season. Sitting on the sofa, watched as Turner declined his gf’s call, secretly saying (YES!). Then the episode ended and that was that. I’m addicted and all I keep reading is that they are not sure about season 2? They can’t leave me hanging like this. I need more Turner and Hootch time.

I hope it gets renewed! Turner and Hooch is a cute, funny, family friendly show. It’s a show you can just sit and enjoy. Erica and Scott have to get together!!!

One of the best shows I have seen in the last several years. There should be more shows like this. FAMILY FRIENDLY.
i think , Turner and Hooch has 4 legs and is going for long walk , it just needs time to stretch its imaginative possibilities , this series is legacy material . Turner and Hooch , Tom Hanks , the guy from family matters , die hard , cmon , the work they did shows an i love every second of it . Give this pooch / hooch a chance . . .
