Lori Loughlin
Things are not going well for Lori Loughlin. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hallmark has severed all ties with the When Calls the Heart co-star following her arrest.
Earlier this week, Loughlin was arrested by the FBI after being accused of participating in a nation-wide college admissions scheme. The Full House star has been a cast member of Hallmark’s hit series When Calls the Heart since its debut in 2014. Additionally, she stars in the network’s film series Garage Sale Mysteries.
Hallmark Channel released a public statement announcing their separation with Loughlin. The network doesn’t specify if they’ll continue to air the current season of When Calls the Heart but it seems likely that they will. If Heart is renewed for a seventh season, it appears that Loughlin’s Abigail Stanton character will not be a part of it.
Here’s the statement:
We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations. We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production.”
Update: A Hallmark spokesperson tells us that When Calls the Heart has been pulled from the March 17th schedule. Will future episodes air? “We are evaluating all creative options related to When Calls the Heart series.”

Not watching anymore!! Devastated when Jack died/Daniel left the show!! Hallmark then moved to Superchannel which is an extra…..not paying to watch!! We are retired seniors on a limited budget for entertainment. Now that Lori has ruined her career and her character on WCTH…..WE ARE DONE!!!
I love “when calls the heart” – it’s one of my favorite shows! I will be really disappointed if this season is interrupted or discontinued! Please share the current season! My four married children also look forward to each episode. Couldn’t you just remove Lori Loughlin from next season’s cast like you did ”Jack”?

Love the show and hope it continues, so sad, but even without Lori. I am hoping they replace her and not write her out.
We love the show and its actors. Hated when Jack was killed off and we hate to see Lori go. Being a main character it will be hard to write her out. Why not use someone like Candance Cameron Bure or Kimberly Paisley. Both great Hallmark actresses that could do this part and the show would go on.
Please don’t cancel the series. Kill her character off, bring in another actress as her cousin or something to take her place. WCTH fans don’t deserve to lose the one wholesome show on TV just because of the actions of one person.
Very disappointed in Lori but why should the rest of the cast suffer for her wrong doings and all of them are just as good in acting as she was. She made a huge mistake and we all make mistakes. I say forgive her, and if I was the judge, I would make her pay a 4 year degree for 4 or more young adults who could not get into these colleges because they did not have the money. Please don’t cancel Garage Sale Mysteries. It is the best! If you have to kill Lori off…..Jason can always remarry. Julie Gonzalo would be a great replacement!
Not only do I think the show should go on without her – I’m disappointed and annoyed tonight’s episode is not running. The show will be fine as long as the fans don’t get jerked around. Just get on with it and replace her for next season.
Continue to air “When calls the heart” programs that have Lori in them, then write her out or replace her. It seems it will cost a lot of money to redo programs that have Lori’s character in them. I would hate for the series to end. It would not be fair to the fans or other actors that didn’t do anything wrong.

Please DO NOT cancel this series! It is a refreshing show to watch nowadays! Love the characters! And….it’s not fair to them to cancel the series. It was bad enough when Jack left!
As for Laughlin….people always want the best for their children…..getting enough punishment as it is.

There are alot of great hallmark actresses that can replace her! I can get use to a new person easily because i know why lori left. It’s her own fault. Bring jack back! Then we’ll be saying lori who?

Do not cancel the series but instead re-cast her part. The show is Great and one Actor does not make a show instead, it is a collaboration of all the characters involved. I love many of the characters who are not lead parts.
I love Garage Sale Mysteries but Hallmark isa family channel and must portray everything about family and honesty It makes me sick to my stomach she would do this She cannot work for a family channel when she would do this
So on this premise, if your family member made a bad choice and broke the law you basically would disown them and never have anything to do with them again… ever?
I loved the Garage Sale Mysteries too! I don’t watch the love stories, but I do enjoy all the mystery TV movies Hallmark makes. They shouldn’t punish the whole cast for something that’s not even gone to trial. Is a person guilty till proven innocent now?
I think the show should go on without Lori Laughlin, why should the entire cast and workers be punished for her mistakes. Find another actor and continue without her. If Lori was in a bad car accident and would be out for several months, would you just cancel the show? Or replace her, and move on? The old saying “The show MUST go on”! Shouldn’t the punishment be coming from the legal system, since they broke laws. Why is it people are so quick to just throw these people away. THey made a bad decision and they’ll be punished I’m sure but who are we to judge and condemn them for it?
I agree. Hire another actress to play her part and let the show continue. The other actors shouldn’t suffer because of her actions. Love Garage sale mysteries.
Just change the character but don’t cancel the show or garage sale mystery. The others actors and the audience shouldn’t suffer because of one bad apple.
