Lori Loughlin
Things are not going well for Lori Loughlin. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hallmark has severed all ties with the When Calls the Heart co-star following her arrest.
Earlier this week, Loughlin was arrested by the FBI after being accused of participating in a nation-wide college admissions scheme. The Full House star has been a cast member of Hallmark’s hit series When Calls the Heart since its debut in 2014. Additionally, she stars in the network’s film series Garage Sale Mysteries.
Hallmark Channel released a public statement announcing their separation with Loughlin. The network doesn’t specify if they’ll continue to air the current season of When Calls the Heart but it seems likely that they will. If Heart is renewed for a seventh season, it appears that Loughlin’s Abigail Stanton character will not be a part of it.
Here’s the statement:
We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations. We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production.”
Update: A Hallmark spokesperson tells us that When Calls the Heart has been pulled from the March 17th schedule. Will future episodes air? “We are evaluating all creative options related to When Calls the Heart series.”

My husband and I were totally saddened to watch what is happening to Lori, I was really troubled about what her daughter said about college and partying. I and my husband felt that Lori lived by higher standards. Can’t watch her anymore. Please replace her character but I do enjoy When Calls the Heart. Truly a Hallmark Fan
If Lori Loughlin was replaced with another actress, I would continue to watch Garage Sale Mysteries. My enjoyment of the stories was not dependent on Loughlin but rather the stories and all the other actors involved. Hopefully, the third party responsible for this entertaining series will consider our comments and continue with another lead actress, keeping the supporting cast intact.
I agree with you. I would definitely love to see the show continue. It is one of my favorites. Replace her with another actress and I am sure your viewers will stay.
Replace Lori with a new character, and don’t try to keep “Abigail” with a different actress.

! will never watch HALLMARK again for the total disregard of the premise of innocent until proven guilty! Also what about all the disregard for all the other actors on this show!I will NEVER watch this HALLMARK channel again!

I agree with Kim. This is one show that could go on without Loughlin. We are very disappointed in her actions, however, this should not harm the show. I believe the rest of the cast is strong enough to carry on.
I’ve been a huge fan of “When Calls the Heart” and “Garage Sale Mysteries” for years. Naturally, I’m totally devastated that they are not going to show further episodes of those wonderful series. The production companies could hire a new actress to replace the roles Lori had and could start anew. Why the viewers and fans have to suffer?! We have every right to enjoy our favorite shows. I just sent an email to Crown Media emploring them to not cancel garage sale mysteries. Maybe if more people did the same they might listen.
PLEASE don’t cancel “When Calls the Heart” or “Garage Sale Mysteries”!! I am a faithful viewer of both of these shows and I don’t believe that fans should be punished for Lori Loughlin’s criminal behavior! Surely you can find another actress to replace her, that’s been done before for other programs due to a death or disgrace. I do believe that you are correct to cut ties with her, but fans of these shows shouldn’t also suffer the consequences of her poor choices!
I liked Lori Loughlin i’m saddened to hear about what she has done but I agree with everyone else . Please don’t cancel the shows just replace her the fans, actors and actresses shouldn’t have to suffer for what shes done.

I am a big fan of the Garage Sale Mysteries and if they feel they cannot keep Lori on then why don’t they simply replace her? Just because fans may be angry at what she did, that is no reason to cancel the movies. I think those who watched and enjoyed the movies would continue to watch them. I TOTALLY AGREE AND WANT TO SEE THIS SERIES CONTINUE. OTHER NETWORKS HAVE REPLACED ACTORS IN OTHER SERIES FOR MISCONDUCT, SO HALLMARK SHOULD DO THE SAME INSTEAD OF PUNISHING LOYAL VIEWERS.
Replace the actress. Go ahead and air what you have. I will still watch. Do not punish the other actors and crew members because of one person.
I totally agree with you. They should definitely air the movies they have already filmed. I think it would be incredibly foolish not to. I was really looking forward to the next ones! They should air those for the FANS to enjoy and then replace Lori and continue the movies. I certainly think the fans of the movies would continue to be LOYAL to the rest of the cast by tuning in!
