Nickelodeon had a big hit with their Every Witch Way TV show but the cable channel decided to cancel the telenovela series after four seasons. That led to a spin-off series, WITS Academy, but now that show’s been cancelled as well.
WITS Academy follows “Guardian in training” Andi Cruz (Daniela Nieves) at the esteemed school for Witches and Wizards in Training. While trying to live up to expectations, she must get two of the academy’s toughest students to graduate. The rest of the cast includes Julia Antonella, Jailen Bates, Kennedy Lea Slocum, Meg Crosbie, Timothy Colombos, Ryan Cargill, Andrew Ortega, Lidya Jewett, Tyler Perez, Jazzy Williams, and Todd Allen Durkin.
The series debuted last October and ran daily for four weeks. The 20 episodes attracted about 1.3 million viewers and remained pretty consistent. Those numbers weren’t apparently good enough for Nickelodeon to order a second season.
The cable channel has been mum on the cancellation but castmember Durkin has not. He posted a photo from his new series on TBS and responded to follower questions asking if he was shooting season two of WITS.
He wrote, “it’s another TV show I’m doing. Wits was canceled. There is no more Wits.”
Durkin continued, “there’s no way there will be another season at this point. Nickelodeon has decided not to have another season of Wits Academy. It’s the end. Sad but true. Done. … No more Andi, Agamemnon, Cameron… All over. The end. Bye bye.”
So, it turns out that the two-part episode on October 30th will be the last episode of the series. Hopefully, the writers and producers will share how the cliffhangers would have been resolved.

I Love WITS Academy, just when i finished watching Season 1 I found out that Season 2 is cancelled!!!! How is the show suppose to get views if nobody knew about it????? I watched Every Witch way online and when i searched for the next season to see where Andi is going i found out that it is continuing on WITS Academy so i Watched Season 1 just to find out Season 2 was Cancelled!!! I Say WITS Academy Season 2 Needs to renewed because a lot of people LOVE WITS Academy!!! Please bring back WITS Academy!!!!
I love wits and I am so mad they are canceling it!! Ugh I used to watch every witch way all the help time and when they made another one I was so happy but now they are canceling it! Unbelievable! Just because there weren’t enough views! And I have been waiting so long for season 2 and I finally searched when is wits Academy coming back I found this website and read it and now I realize there is no season 2! Omg! I wish this was still a show! and rn I am legit in tears!

I think they should renew the series for a second season. The show is only in the end of the first semester which leaves three more semesters left and the guy in the witch’s bottle leaves everyone in suspense for who they are. There should at least be one more season to find out what happens to everyone in the academy like, if Andi gets to be Emma’s guardian.

It cannot be the end of wits academy because who is gonna be Emma’s guardian if we do not know it it is not worthy to see any episodes , even though Nickelodeon doesn’t let wits academy in how about to go to Disney Channel instead and the TV show might carry on .
Wits academy is one of the best tvshows created and there it should be renewed for another season because it amazing and great.

I say it should be brought back because another huge factor hasn’t been considered I think especially for Nickelodeon. Ultimately the channel is a kid’s channel just like CN or Disney XD with a few shows that match that to Disney Channel shows for teenagers/young adults. Now saying that WITS is a fun and entertaining kid’s show. However, the show was just as entertaining for the adults watching as well whether with their own children or younger siblings.
