The first season of Family Tools typically airs Wednesday nights at 8:30pm and there are 10 episodes (cut from 13). The sitcom’s cast includes Kyle Bornheimer, J.K. Simmons, Johnny Pemberton, Edi Gathegi, Danielle Nicolet, and Leah Remini.

It was a disappointing launch for this new sitcom. It drew worse numbers than the last original episode of Suburgatory in the same timeslot two weeks earlier and lost 25% of its lead-in demo from The Middle.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Family Tools TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
The show was fantastic. What is wrong with ABC. You go on ratings, but what about other ratings. I am so disappointed. No wonder why I do not like ABC that much. Family Tools, Body of Proof. Whats up with ABC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
also, with those numbers near the end close to 4mill. pretty good numbers for an already cancelled show.
no offense, isnt this article more on the redundant side of things? 🙂
I thought Family Tools was already canceled?
It is. They’re just burning off the rest of the episodes.
I blame Jack’s co-worker and friend on the show. I don’t know if it was the writing or the acting but character of Darren came across as completely unlikeable and I wondered how he was still employed.
A C+ at best so far. 2nd show a little better.
