The Affair follows the emotional effects of an extramarital relationship between two troubled married people — a New York City schoolteacher/novelist and a young waitress. The show stars Dominic West, Maura Tierney, Ruth Wilson, and Joshua Jackson.

I rarely get into a series of any kind,but I love these flawed characters and realistic topics.

I think The Affair really benefitted from Homeland having such a great season. I think the showed deteriorated from ok melodrama to full on soap. Shouldn’t have been renewed.
I think they should go for another season… It is too good and they can carry it… I love the series!!!
Ten episodes are enough. A second season is not needed. Learn from Fargo. A new season means a new story.
I liked this first season with the exception of Dominic west who was very miscast as Noah. If they change the direction to the other half of the couples stories I think this show will be a lot more successful.
Dominic was the PERFECT choice as Noah in the series. AWESOME actor, and paired very well with Ruth Wilson. Great series!
