They must overcome deep personal fears and jealousies, baring their darkest secrets to one another if they are to stay alive, stay together and find a way back to present day.

What do you think? Have you seen the first season of the A Discovery of Witches TV series? Do you plan to watch the second season?
No plans on watching. I lived the 1st season but I am sick and tired of these stations moving shows to streaming and having to pay extra.
I pay enough now!
This is an all around bum deal. PUT THE SHOW BACK ON TV.
Shame on AMC NETWORKS for being greedy and taking this off of tv! You got viewers hooked on to a great show so you expect them to follow you over to your app where they’ll have to pay to watch it! I already pay for your channel with Directv. Not that you even care, but you should be ashamed of yourselves for your corporate greed. I guess this is a great show that I’ll have to let go of because I’m not going to go broke subscribing to every app for every show I’m interested in when I already pay… Read more »
You hit the nail on the head! I am tired of this happening all the time. They can shove their streaming…I am no paying extra for any TV show.
I was looking forward to watching season 2 and now I find out it’s only on a steaming that I can’t use because I live in the country and can’t get unlimited data. I also can’t afford to pay for a streaming service on top of my Dish bill! Why can’t it be shown on the AMC channel I already pay for?!
I watched the entire first season of Discovery of Witches and I was looking forward to season 2. However, I will not be able to continue watching because it is only available by streaming.. which I cannot do in my location.
I have been waiting forever for this show to come back! Now I see that I will not be able to watch it on amc, that I already pay for through my tv provider. More money more money! I can’t afford to pay for my cable and streaming too! Not fair!
I’m so anxious for the next season. Great entertainment!
Why do they keep doing this. I still have my cable because my mom can work it. I don’t stream. Hopefully they will put it out on dvd and I can catch up with it that way. That’s what I do for Outlander and The Handmaid’s Tale.
Loved the first season of A Discovery of Witches and have been anticipating the second season. Am really heartbroken that AMC has decided to lock it behind a pay wall, though, I’ve been expecting this to happen with them too. Not buying into another streaming service (we got Sling to keep AMC/BBC America when we cut the cable) so this AMC fan is going to say ADIOS to them just like I did with CBS and NBC. Well at least we’ll save another $45 a month by cutting Sling out.
I am soooooooo ready to watch this program!!!! Not sure I have the sundance channel but going to have to look and pray to God it is not too expensive if I do not have it!!!
I can’t believe that AMC gets all of us hooked on A Discovery of Witches and then changes to streaming like all of will just jump over to pay for yet ANOTHER streaming services. Too bad, that won’t be happening to this family. Up yours for being insensitive for the almighty dollar. I guess I won’t watch. Some year the show will end and someone will play it. I’ll wait.
Disappointed that this series won’t be returning to AMC. I don’t subscribe to streaming services. I am in my 60’s and limit my watching to cable. I am sure there are many others like me
I can’t afford to pay for more video channels . So I hope that the discovery of witches will eventually come back to amc and bbc America.
I enjoyed the first 4 episodes last year (on AMC after Killing Eve).
However, even more content hidden from broadcast/OTA & basic cable. How many standalone streaming services must we consumers buy?!?! (don’t get me started on “FX on Hulu”)
Watching season 1, it is horrible, same teen story.
