TV show description:
A dramedy from creator John Riggi, the American Woman TV show is inspired by the childhood of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member, Kyle Richards, sister of former child star Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton. The series centers on Bonnie (Silverstone), a single mother of two daughters.
It’s the 1970s in America. Second-wave feminism is on the rise, and the sexual revolution is in full force, when the heroine discovers her husband, Steve (Tupper), is having an affair. Now, Bonnie has to figure out how to make it on her own, with a little help from her friends, Diana (Bartels) and Kathleen (Suvari).

Please renew it or get it picked up – Love the writing, the story line, the era, the characters, the design and costumes. Great show to get lost in. Please bring back my therapy. Don’t understand how you are not giving this show a 2nd season to get more watchers hooked!
Maybe American Woman can be picked up by another network…and make it an hour long this time! Come on paramount! Give it another chance.. I’m so upset. Great actors telling my era stories. It was Awesome! Please bring it back!!

American Woman should be renewed. This show had smart writing and great talent. It’s a shame that good old fashioned family friendly TV is no longer welcomed in American homes. Please reconsider this decision; this is a new station-give it a chance to be discovered. Lipsync Battle aired after this program… what’s the problem???
