Sometimes you can’t beat walking the beat. FOX has cancelled Len Wiseman’s APB TV show after just one season.
A high-tech police drama, APB stars Justin Kirk as billionaire engineer Gideon Reeves, who takes charge of the troubled 13th District, after the murder of his friend. The FOX cast also includes: Natalie Martinez, Caitlin Stasey, Ernie Hudson, Taylor Handley, Tamberla Perry, and Nestor Serrano.
APB: A Look at the Ratings
The first season of APB averaged a 0.78 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.43 million viewers. While its total average audience size was respectable (when compared to the rest of FOX’s shows), the demo numbers were far too low for a freshman drama, hence the cancellation. Hey we the geek community love our tech shows APB is the first show that give hackers a perspective on being creative and looking forward for a show of this type.Channel 2 is the only competition you have and the show CSI: Cyber isn’t hot as APB So keep it up. Also it be a great idea if you guys have this type of show during the weekend!
I don’t know how ratings work it seems to me good shows get cancelled why others don’t and sometimes most times you get the crappy ones that stay. I think you made a mistake on cancelling APB it was renewing refreshing and totally kool. Need to bring it back.
Yes, I watched season 1 and I thought it was a pretty good show. I like the idea of all the new types of technology.
Please don’t cancel
I am really sick and tired of the networks that cancel a series after a few short weeks. Seriously? This was such a refreshing change; a completely different story line that kept you guessing how Giddeon was going to save the day. And the underlying relationship between Murphy and Giddeon needed to be explored further. I think that new shows should be given at least TWO runs before pulling the plug.

It’s a shame that shows like this which are a refreshing change don’t get a second series. I agree that every show should get at least two and also be allowed to give it a proper ending and not just think stuff it lets make another “Who Celebrity Dog Looks Like A Banana” For shame Fox for shame
Man why can’t they give shows at least two seasons then cancel if it doesn’t work. BRing it back come guys give it a damn chance chance
APB is a great show. I’m lucky I found it because I pretty much quit watching TV. Nothing but crap on every channel. If this is cancelled, there’s nothing left with watching.

What is the deal with FOX? They start a cool sci-fi show & don’t even give it a chance!! They did the same thing with “Almost Human”. I guess sci-fi just isn’t their thing. Maybe they’ll sell it to someone who can manage to keep something other than stupid reality shows and the same repackaged crap hour after hour.
