Sometimes you can’t beat walking the beat. FOX has cancelled Len Wiseman’s APB TV show after just one season.
A high-tech police drama, APB stars Justin Kirk as billionaire engineer Gideon Reeves, who takes charge of the troubled 13th District, after the murder of his friend. The FOX cast also includes: Natalie Martinez, Caitlin Stasey, Ernie Hudson, Taylor Handley, Tamberla Perry, and Nestor Serrano.
APB: A Look at the Ratings
The first season of APB averaged a 0.78 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.43 million viewers. While its total average audience size was respectable (when compared to the rest of FOX’s shows), the demo numbers were far too low for a freshman drama, hence the cancellation. Of course they take a show that everyone was just starting to really get into and enjoy! You see shows like The Kardashians and Master Chef get renewed for multiple seasons and they are CRAP!! I think all this show needed was a bigger span of advertisment, vast majority of people who did watch it enjoyed it immensely. They didnt give it enough time.

I think this show should be renewed I feel it was just getting started, the show could have been one of my favorite shows

With so many channels and options you have to give a show more time than just one season to see if it will fly! If you took the time to help the series then they might succeed. It’s crap that as a network you will just end a program after we have watched it all season, and then find out they are not bringing it back. The shows that are renewed suck, I have no desire to watch a cartoon. Cartoons should be played on Saturday mornings!!!! Pull your heads out!!!
Well both 24 legacy and APB were enjoyable programs. Y’all kinda (FOX) helped on declining. Viewers when you decided to add the narrating. No one wanted to hear a walk thru of each step of the show. I stopped watching till y’all took it off. Sad to see them go tho.
I loved that show I was waiting 4 season 2…that was the really reason why I watched regular TV is 4 that show…
I still watch it ovet and over as I have purchased it on Google Play. Fox does that count for something?

I’m very disappointed. I enjoyed the show and the regular joes playing the roles especially the billionair Gideon. He was a refreshing character . FOX rethink your choice….PLEASE.
This was one of the new great shows out besides WGN the outsiders you need to take your head out of your butt and keep shows that are obviously good on the air. I’m borded with all the reality shows like master chef beat Shazam love connection are you afraid to put shows on that take intelligent thought to make or do we just sit there and put up with mindless dibble

I thought the show was on to something introducing new or possible future technology similar to the original Star Trek. I looked forward to seeing what the show would introduce next. We enjoyed the show and it’s too bad it was cut. And I’m an old geezer.
