Telly’s Take
Arrow’s ratings have dropped quite a bit in season five but it’s still doing well by CW standards. It’s no surprise that the network renewed Arrow for a sixth season. However, with such significant ratings slides, I have to wonder how long the series can continue. My gut tells me that Arrow won’t stay on the air for as long as Supernatural has.

What do you think? Are you glad that the Arrow TV show has been renewed for a sixth season? Or, do you think this CW show should have been cancelled instead?
I love Arrow but I’m wondering why the season 6 premiere is set for Thursday night at 11p.m. it kind of seems like this might be it’s last season.
Yep it is done it might continue hope not done after this season old show. Cancel it.
Used to love this series, but last couple of seasons it seems to have took a real nose dive, costumes have gone over to the silly side,no longer dark and mysterious beginning to look more like a kids anime show, and Felicity needs to put a speed control on her mouth, sounds like shes on amphetamines or something, sad, not going to watch anymore.
I will be glad for a season six, but I agree with comments that Oliver and Felicity not being together are where the series took a wrong turn. Their chemistry and their relationship is a lynchpin for success. They are just so good together and anything other than that kind of relationship just leaves things flat, in my opinion. The crossover shows have been a lot of fun as well.
Green Arrow and Black Canary are an iconic comic book couple with 50 years of history as a duo. Felicity was a character that was invented for the TV series and the forced coupling with Oliver just didn’t work.
Iconic? I never heard for them.
Chloe was a just a character in Smallville and she married Oliver Queen.
Renew, bring back Olicity – that’s where you will get your viewers. Their chemistry along with the humor (as in season 1 and 2) along with fighting evil is where you need to be. You probably lost viewership when you got away from other aspects – relationships. The angst. Bring it back.
It should definitely be renewed. I love the characters. The fact that Steven Smell does many of his own stunts keeps me watching. I also love how other spin offs are woven into the story line making the world of Starling City much larger and interconnected.
The only thing that will bring me back to the Dark, Sad, Depressing Arrow is for he and Felicity to get happy and married.
