This evening, fans are saying goodbye to the Beauty and the Beast TV show on The CW. Is the time right? Should the series be ending? Should the network have made season five?
On Beauty and the Beast, a beautiful detective (Kristin Kreuk), navigates her evolving relationship with a handsome doctor (Jay Ryan) who becomes a terrifying beast. Others in the cast are Austin Basis, Nina Lisandrello, Nicole Gale Anderson, and Michael Roark.
Loosely based on the CBS series from 1987, Beauty and the Beast has never been a hit show in the ratings. The first season averaged a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.61 million viewers. The second season dropped to a 0.29 in the demo with 800,000 viewers.
In season three, the demo dropped to a 0.23 rating while viewership grew 10%, to 880,000 viewers. The current season averages have hit new series lows, averaging a 0.20 in the demo with 739,000 viewers.
While The CW execs are ready to say goodbye to this show, that doesn’t mean that the series’ fans are necessarily ready. What do you think? Would you have watched a fifth season or, is four seasons enough? If you’ve seen it, are you satisfied with the last episode?

of course I want that BATB continues with S5, with many other seasons. History is made of love and passion that captures your heart, friendship that makes you realize how important it is to have friends true and faithful, action what enough to put suspens. The cast of BATB is extraordinary, they have an alchemy between them that you won’t find in any tv series. BATB has it all and really deserves new seasons.
Yes absolutely. The series is absolutely awesome I love them totally. The actors make the series only really super. I am a big fan of Jay Ryan. It’s a shame that the series will not be done on. I would definitely look at one or several more seasons. I’m a big fan of this series. Greetings from Konstanz, Germany !!!!!

Yes! I would love to see more&more seasons of this amazing TVShow! Not only season 5!! No other serie has captured my heart like Beauty and the Beast, a serie full of love, romance and passion, but also of action , suspance, drama, mithology, thrilling, fantastic hand combat, brotherhood and loyalty! Chemistry between VinCat is the most beautiful and special that I have ever seen and they story deservesto continue! So ….. bring it back, please!!!!

I would love to watch season 5! This show was amazing it was interesting to see what they went through and saw how they overcame the roller coaster. I really would like them to make a season 5 don’t end their story line in season 4 I’m sure they have more interesting roller coasters to go through.
Another season would be great. I do suggest moving the day. Maybe near the Flash or Supergirl. Call it hero night or save the world / bringing back drama tv

Yes I would absolutely love to have more seasons of Beauty & The Beast, but only if they either get a new show runner, or at least bring Jennifer Levin & Sherri Cooper back as executive producers & writers. They created & understood the love story & passion that I & many many Beasties fell in love with. Unfortunately, Brad Kern & Co all but destroyed it. Please, Please, Please, do a fifth season, we have a girls night for Beauty and the Beast and love the series. Don’t cancel it, give it at least one more season. Would love to see their happily ever after end with them having a little beaxt!!!!
You should bring it back for season 5 and put it in a time slot where you have other shows not worth watching. And if you had any brains you should of grab Dallas, it would of added some class to your network and you would of pick up a lot more fans.
