It looks like the vacation is over. Recently, Jeff Dye confirmed that NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons.
The reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they travel the world with both help and misdirection from tech-savvy comedian Jeff Dye.
On Twitter, Dye revealed NBC has decided not to renew Better Late Than Never. The series wrapped its second season in February with an average rating of .91 in the 18-49 demo and 4.819 million viewers. That’s a nearly 40% drop in ratings from season one.

What do you think? Have you seen Better Late Than Never? Are you sad it’s been cancelled?
Cancel one of the funniest, bust yer gut laughing shows I have seen in a long time makes no sense but nothing at NBC makes sense anymore. Pretty soon NBC is going to mean, Nothing But Crap
This sucks. All the crap you keep on and the best shows get cancelled. This was the funniest show I had seen in ages and so looked forward to it. We need to start a petition. Put this show back on and get rid of the other crap like This is Ys
BETTER LATE THAN NEVER WAS A DELIGHTFUL, ENJOYABLE, FUN SHOW!!
It was fast-paced, easy to watch, took viewers around the world with those zany American treasures…and the best part was seeing the guys be themselves. I fell in love with all of them all over again..especially Henry.. what a gem, and Schatner.. amusing all. Will miss it.
** Henry won an Emmy tonight for his HBO show !! **
Thank you guys for Better Late Than Never….
it was quite a trip!! #
NBC made another bad decision.
This is such a bummer. The interaction between everyone was a crack up. I do hope that it gets picked up by another network.
Noooooo. I love this show. It’s hilarious. The guys work so well together and that’s rare. I don’t want the fun to end. Please please reconsider cancelation.
I loved this show. Never laughed so hard in my life. Dumb to not continue with more
This makes us so sad. Not only was it absolutely hilarious but also informative. We will miss you guys!
So sad BLTN cancelled!! Everyone we know LOVED it & have been looking forward to it!! It was SO refreshing to be able to laugh at a tv show!!
The show was so funny and enjoyable to watch.
Better Late then Never is canceled, Wow thhis show should be picked up by another station if NBC doesen’t want to continue with it. It has been great fun watching these men tour the world. This show is part travel log and part comedy how can you beat that. I love seeing how much fun these older men can have and all the trouble they can get themselves into as they explore the different cultures our wolrld has to offer. The places they go and the things they do are so different from what I could do that is is… Read more »
Agreed… so much junk on TV … please someone pick this up!!!
I LOVED this show! Seeing them Seeing them all as real people rather then for their notarity was hilarious. How each adjusted to new places and looked after each other was awesome. Showing people that you should explore strange new places places and cultures now. And see new civilizations And to boldly go where they haven’t before.
It sucks that BLTN won’t return. A great, fun show. We looked forward to it . So well done. Get someone else to carry it. Netflix or ?.
So sad that Better Late Than Never was canceled. It was a fun show, but it also made you think about living life to its fullest. Seeing all the experiences as the cast traveled the world also gave the audience experiences that you don’t get from many shows. I hope NBC reconsiders and brings the show back or does a similar show with the cast.
So very sad! It was well done and so funny! Bad decision to cancel!!
So very sad to find out BLTN has been cancelled and won’t be returning for Season #3. I just discovered this show late after Season #1 so I’ve enjoyed watching each episode since. Those four guys are so funny together! Guess I’ll just have to watch another show this upcoming season on some network other than NBC during that time slot. Networks make mistakes…
