It looks like the vacation is over. Recently, Jeff Dye confirmed that NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons.
The reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they travel the world with both help and misdirection from tech-savvy comedian Jeff Dye.
On Twitter, Dye revealed NBC has decided not to renew Better Late Than Never. The series wrapped its second season in February with an average rating of .91 in the 18-49 demo and 4.819 million viewers. That’s a nearly 40% drop in ratings from season one.

I LOVE THIS SHOW and have been encouraging all my friends and family and everyone on social media they HAVE to watch this great show. Real, funny, real funny, and touching and heartwarming. Plus it’s full of tidbits of information about history and cultures around the world, while laughing the entire time. BRING THIS BACK – get rid of one of the crappy scripted garbage we have too much of on TV these days!!!
How could NBC cancel “Better Late Than Never”? This show is an absolute delight in every moment broadcast and the fans were overjoyed with Season 2! These 5 iconic heroes in their own right had the courage and integrity to show who they were in all their glory and weaknesses in celebration of what they have accomplished and continue to do for other people! A show like this should be continued to appreciate our heroes as human beings on a personal level which endeared each one as loves in my heart and soul! It is priceless, above and beyond any… Read more »

I love this show and I’m watching it on demand right now. It’s just 5 guys having fun, no drama, no politics, no judgement. I’m really sad it’s cancelled yet shows like big brother and survivor that do nothing except pit people against each other get renewed season after season!
One of the great shows!
So tierd of cops ,csi, gansters, and trash tv.
Even the comedy’s are trashy today.
Bring back some fun and maybe some will rub off on our society!

This show was amazing and hilarious! I love Henry Winkler and Terry Bradshaw! They were the best! NBC made a mistake cancelling the show, hope they reconsider.
This was a great entertaining show! One of the best in recent times! I am so sad to see that there won’t be more of these guys to see in the near future! Shame on the decision to cancel this.
This is such a fun show–we were really looking forward to more insane shennanigans from the guys. So disappointed it was cancelled. Boo hiss! With all the violent junk and soap opera drama on TV, a fun show like this is so needed.
This was the only show that the whole family watched together. We are EXTREMELY upset that it was cancelled. With all the nonsense that has aired lately, this was a true family show, the funniest one we’ve seen in a long time. We cannot believe it was cancelled!
OMG! My husband and I love those guys and the show. So sad to hear they were cancelled. Shame on those who chose to go that direction.
Oh Show was soooo good. Guys reacted so well with each other. Sorry to hear it’s cancelled.
