It looks like the vacation is over. Recently, Jeff Dye confirmed that NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons.
The reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they travel the world with both help and misdirection from tech-savvy comedian Jeff Dye.
On Twitter, Dye revealed NBC has decided not to renew Better Late Than Never. The series wrapped its second season in February with an average rating of .91 in the 18-49 demo and 4.819 million viewers. That’s a nearly 40% drop in ratings from season one.

What do you think? Have you seen Better Late Than Never? Are you sad it’s been cancelled?
The funniest show ever. Please bring it back.
I am so bummed out about NBC not renewing a third season of Better Late Than Never. My husband and I have never laughed so hard over a reality show. People please, you watch shows where people sleep with other people, live in a big house, marry someone you don’t know, etc. This was good clean fun with these men and it gets canceled. What’s wroing with our country?????
I am just HEARTBROKEN!!! “Better Late Than Never” is an exceptional Primetime Television Series!! I truly enjoyed watching those guys! They had such a dynamic mixture and quality personalities!! I have been waiting and searching… checking the Channel Lineup & Listings for “BLTN”, and there has been no sign of it. So this morning, Jan 31 2019, I did a “Google Search”, and low and behold… there it was…the word CANCELLED for Season 3!!! Sadly, this isn’t the only Primetime Series that NBC cancelled in for Season 3 that I truly enjoyed – but that particular show had enough viewers… Read more »
One of the funniest and funnest shows on TV. Sick of the news and all of those reality shows. Bring it back please.
The show was halarious. All the good shows get cancelled like Duck dynasty. Those were two shows that could be watched with parents or kids without being embarrassed due to its content. Seems shows have to have vulgar language or sexual situations to be renewed.
How about a Netflix series to bring this crew back? Their antics were hilarious and sometimes really touching and emotional, and their chemistry was fantastic. My entire family loved watching this every week and we all laughed together so much. Maybe we should petition Netflix to bring it back!!
Loved this show and just read that it was canceled. Such a shame because it really was a show the whole family could enjoy. Thanks for the laughs to the entire cast. We’ll miss watching your travels.
I am truly disappointed in this decision!! My husband and I were so looking for to the next season. This was the funniest show and made us both laugh ALL THE TIME. It made you feel HAPPY instead of all the depressing things on TV now!!! What a disappointment!!!!!!! I have both seasons on DVR so at least if I need a lift, I can re-watch the old ones!!! Sometimes I can’t help but wonder what is entertainment in the TV stations mind?
Please bring show back!
Bring back the geezers! We loved this show. It was one of the things we look forward to seeing on TV. NBC, how do we get you to bring this back? If we wait too much longer these fellows might be touring in wheelchairs. I’m sure Bradshaw wouldn’t let that stop him from being naked! LOL Thanks for the two seasons of laughter.
I am very saddened by the cancellation of the show. Clearly one of THE funniest shows that was on tv. I looked forward to seeing their next adventure.
I discovered the show in 2018. absolutely loved it. being in my late 50’s bought los of memories and future dreams . They made me laugh. please rethink this .

The show was an absolute fun to watch. Brilliant idea, great cast. Very sad they cancelled. NBC it was, right? Of course. Boo.
That’s too bad the show was cancelled. Enjoyed watching!!! Show had a lot of laughs!!
Great entertainment- better late than never. Everything I like gets cancelled. I have to say 90% of tv for me is boring.
