BH90210 just ended its first season, but will there be a second? Recently, stars Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the future of the FOX TV show.
The reunion series follows the stars of the original Beverly Hills 90210 as they “play highly fictionalized versions of themselves reuniting to reboot the original series.” The cast includes Spelling, Garth, Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, and Brian Austin Green.

In the interview, Spelling revealed there are plans for a second season of BH90210 should FOX renew the series:
We definitely wanted to keep it very meta, as the whole show has been. In our minds, writing the last episode was foreshadowing another season. Going forward, the second season would be more laser-focused on the reboot. So the fans would get a much bigger percentage of us playing ourselves and our characters from the original 90210 as we would dive into what the reboot would look like.”
Later, Spelling also teased a possible casting change-up for season two:
We’ll have to keep who it is a mystery. Maybe they’ll all be back, who knows? Here’s the thing, I feel like we left it as a cliffhanger. We said the stalker set the fires, but we never admitted to the stalker that they caught at the red dress doing the mutilated dolls or any of the other creepy things that were happening to them. So that’s open-ended.”
And what about Jennie and Jason? Will they get together? Garth said:
[Penny] was really great to work with and we were all sad to see him go, and it happened really quickly. But we realized it was episode 6 and we need to leave the lane open for Brandon and Kelly, potentially, if we go forward. Doing the hotel scene with Jason was hilarious. We would just look at each other and say, “Okay, let’s do this!” It was fun, for sure.”

I watched each episode of this first season at least twice. Really enjoyed it. FOX has to renew this show for season 2!
Yes, I watched the original 90210. Loved the reboot , and yes please do a second season. I will definitely be watching. Was really hoping for more episodes now. Six wasn’t enough, I record the show and hope it is counted in the ratings.
I would definitely watch a 2nd season. I watched the original and this reboot was so quick and campy. Loved it. My husband, who never watched the original, even enjoyed it.
I watched the first 6 and am kinda like huh. You keep flopping back and forth with real and fiction pick one or the other. At times but seemed like whatever and other times I can see and relate to that. You really need to. Let all the reality fiction go and give abswerscto what happenned to old cast members like Janet Price or Kathleen Robertson and Tiffani was a huge part of 90219 4 1/2 season she left one episode before Jason. Yes, I would definitely watch another season. Even my husband got into these 6 episodes. Loved it, bring us more!!

Yes renew it for sure. Very sad about Luke it would have been nice for him to be with the rest of the cast. I for one would also like to see Tori Spelling get a fair shake at something positive for herself for a change,just saying! 🙂 I think the show is entertaining and funny.
I would definitely watch it. The acting and subjects are still so true. Please bring this fantastic show back. We all need this in our lifes⚘

I would totally watch another season!!- And another and another lol loved watching 90210 growing up and loved the first season of the reboot! Even my oldest daughter was excited to hear it was coming back!! Please keep them coming!!! Can’t wait to see what’s next!! And they all gave a wonderful performance!! Was glad to see them all back! So sad to hear about our wonderful “ Dillan” I know he is missed not only by the fans but by the cast as well!

Yes!!! Please Please bring back a 2,3,4,5,etc. Season!!!! I was a huge fan of 90210 and was sad to see it end. This reboot was excellent and want them all back again!!
