What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Blue Bloods follows a multi-generational family of cops, the Reagans. Patriarch and New York Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) leads both the police force and the Reagan brood. Daughter and New York ADA Erin (Bridget Moynahan) is a single mom and the family’s legal compass. As the eldest son and a seasoned detective Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) sometimes uses questionable tactics while working cases with his partner Detective Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez). His wife Linda (Amy Carlson) is a bastion of support. Golden boy and Harvard grad Jamie (Will Estes) is the youngest of Frank’s kids. He gives up his legal career to follow the family’s law enforcement tradition. The cast also includes Len Cariou, Sami Gayle, and Vanessa Ray.

Telly’s Take
While theBlue Bloods rating numbers in the important 18-49 demo are nothing to crow about, the show still draws lots of eyeballs to CBS. Even in its seventh season, Blue Bloods remains one of The Tiffany Network’s top five shows in terms of total audience, despite the fact that it airs on Friday nights. It also does well in syndication. Since star Tom Selleck is only signed through the current season, a Blue Bloods season eight renewal will likely come down to whether he and his key cast mates want to continue making the police procedural drama. Right now though, I expect CBS will pick up Blue Bloods season eight, provided all parties can come to terms.

This is agood old fasion series, ecpressing ethical thought and behavior with awareness of extenuating circumstances in all peoples lives. Shows what a healthy family dynamic might look like.
I work on blue bloods were going for 200 episodes.
I love Blue Bloods! I watch it every friday night and have not missed a one since the show has started. It is a family show, clean, and decent and has drama and true life lessons . I don’t want to miss watching my favorite show. There isn’t much good to watch on tv anymore and when we get a good one like this one let it continue . Too many reality shows, sit coms that make no sense, and sex. This one the whole family watches. Please continue Blue Bloods.

The only show I ever look forward to is Blue Bloods. I never make plans to go out on Friday nights because I don’t want to miss watching my favorite show. To me, there is to many reality shows on tv that should be taking off and leave our family oriented Blue Bloods alone. Besides I can’t wait to see Jamie and Eddie finally get together. Please keep Blue Bloods alive and your viewers really happy. Please renew Blue Bloods for more seasons.
RENEW FOR SEASON 8!
I love Blue Bloods so much and I would hate to see that there isn’t going to be a season eight.
NO BLUE BLOODS SHOULD NOT BE RENEWED TO COME BACK ON AGAIN WHY KEEP PUTTING IT BACK ON I’M TIRED OF WATCHING BLUE BLOODS ALL DAY LONG THAT’S ALL WE WATCH CAUSE NOBODY WANTS TO WATCH NOTHING ELSE I WISH THEY WOULD TAKE ALL THE RERUNS OFF THE AIR
Love Blue Bloods….Great TV show with a good and satisfying ending to each episode…CBS must make season 8 happen…Love interest for Frank and adding Eddie to the family would b a good way to end the series, if 8 were to b the last one…
Best show on TV all star cast. Love the characters played in the show I think that they should keep the show for Season Eight. One of few good shows on TV now.
Please keep Blue Bloods going as long as you can. I have my whole extended family watching. I love love this show so much that everyone knows I watch the reruns every Thursday. They know not to plan anything with me on that day. Keep this show going longer than Law and Oder!!! So many people love Blue Bloods.
If Frank dies, does Erin Reagan become the new commissioner?
Awesome show with a great and diverse story line. It’s nice to see family dinner as life should be!
Our favorite show, we’ll be very disappointed if it is canceled.
Love this show and in my mind it’s practically the only show that’s still worth watching after so many seasons!! It’s so close to our daily life senarios and down to earth but yet full of profound wisdom at deep issues at the same time. Brilliant drama!
