What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Blue Bloods follows a multi-generational family of cops, the Reagans. Patriarch and New York Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) leads both the police force and the Reagan brood. Daughter and New York ADA Erin (Bridget Moynahan) is a single mom and the family’s legal compass. As the eldest son and a seasoned detective Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) sometimes uses questionable tactics while working cases with his partner Detective Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez). His wife Linda (Amy Carlson) is a bastion of support. Golden boy and Harvard grad Jamie (Will Estes) is the youngest of Frank’s kids. He gives up his legal career to follow the family’s law enforcement tradition. The cast also includes Len Cariou, Sami Gayle, and Vanessa Ray.

Telly’s Take
While theBlue Bloods rating numbers in the important 18-49 demo are nothing to crow about, the show still draws lots of eyeballs to CBS. Even in its seventh season, Blue Bloods remains one of The Tiffany Network’s top five shows in terms of total audience, despite the fact that it airs on Friday nights. It also does well in syndication. Since star Tom Selleck is only signed through the current season, a Blue Bloods season eight renewal will likely come down to whether he and his key cast mates want to continue making the police procedural drama. Right now though, I expect CBS will pick up Blue Bloods season eight, provided all parties can come to terms.

love the show tape every week .just did not like the way it put down on democrats. we are not the problem
My husband and I loved the show and we hate it being canceled. We need a new family show like that or a new western with Tom selleck
Love it
Great show. I appreciate the honesty and integrity that this show promotes. Real live could learn a lot of Godly principals from this. Just wish the social drinking and saucey language were eliminated.
Best show on TV. Character. Plot. Relationships. Family. If the actors want to continue, keep it on. NCIS Los Angeles and NCIS come in second.
The best show on T.V. The acting and the script writing are more than superb!
Blue Bloods is by far the best crime/drama show on TV. Today. To be quite frank, most new shows are GARBAGE. Except NCIS and criminal minds not on CBS Come close to Blue Bloods and I do watch. I am 63 years old and see how much television shows have declined. Most of the shows on ABC, NBC, &ABC suck!!!
DO NOT CANCEL.THIS IS A GREAT SHOW. NOT TO MANY GOOD SHOWS ON TV.PLEASE DON’T CANCEL THE BEST ON TV.
I love Blue Bloods but darn it being on Friday at 10pm I usually am out for the evening or can’t stay awake. How about considering another night and earlier, please. Please don’t cancel.
