Get ready for more of those big Reagan family dinners. CBS has renewed Blue Bloods for a sixth season.
Blue Bloods revolves around the Irish-American Reagan family and their work as part of the NYPD. The cast includes Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Amy Carlson, Sami Gayle, Vanessa Ray, and Marisa Ramirez.
A cornerstone of the CBS schedule on Friday nights, Blue Bloods has been down slightly in season five. The show’s been averaging a 1.29 rating in the 18-49 demographic (down 8%) but is averaging a whopping 11.29 million viewers, consistently making it the most-watched show on network television on Friday nights.

I recently started watching The show after much encouragement from friends. I love the show! The cast is perfect. I have started watching the old episodes and also the new. As stated, the show is the most watched on network television on Fridays. Why would they consider canceling it. I do not watch much television as it is difficult to find a show of this quality. Will continue to watch and hope we have them on the air for years to come.
Now that Blue bloods has been renewed maybe Jaime can get a promotion. He certainly has proven his worth. Not a rookie any more, and his mild mannered approach is good contrast to Danny’s violence manner. The Reagan’s all top shelve.
We just started watching this show a month ago. We can not wait to see season six. We have watched at least 60 to 70 old episodes. This show is now one of our must see shows. V/R, Jim

Don’t even think of canceling one of the best shows on TV. I know a number of people watching the show and TALKING ABOUT IT the next few days, as being the thinking Mans show with NO CRAP in it.

I’m sure it must be difficult to come up with interesting plots – but other shows have lasted for many years. Current events can always be a guide.
My neighbor watches the reruns every afternoon.
I feel it should run for as long as it can c it’s Basically involves using a family but it gives off a few tips on what to expect in our nation’s cities an what we do about it to keep our families from harm’s way by acting in the best possible way
I love the show!!! I watch it every Friday with my father!!! Love the plots, the actors, the characters…everything!!!!
The acting is excellent as is the writing. This is a much needed show you can watch with your children–no bad language or sexual content. Very good story lines and richness to characters. It is a much needed variation for those of us who love cop shows but are sick of the vulgarity.
Blue Bloods is one of the best TV shows. I have been watching all of the re-runs and I would rather watch the re-runs than some of the shows that are currently being shown.

I am 77 years old…..I love the show…..The acting is fantastic……I watch and tape every show……Donnie Wahlberg is Grrrrrrreat…… Have always been a fan of Tom Selleck….My husband Bill cannot get enough of Quigley Down Under…..We have been married 60 years …..I admire Selleck for his REAL family life……Keep it up………..Love all of U…..
Blue Bloods is the BEST! I watch it religiously, and record it to watch again when there is nothing worth watching on. Every member of the cast is perfect in their roles. I hope the show goes on for many more seasons. Please do not let the 2015-2016 season be the seres finale.

I watch it religiously on Fridays, and I have been watching it on WE TV and WGN to pick up episodes that I have missed. I like everybody in the cast, etc. Shows are not simplistic. Some show some real thought to contradictions, etc. Tom Selleck tries to be a straight shooter, etc. Good differences in what the various Regans do and their job differences.
