The Boys are coming to Cinemax. Deadline reports the network is developing a series based on the dark comic book series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.

The TV show comes from Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Neal Moritz—the same team behind another Ennis adaptation, AMC’s upcoming Preacher.

First published in 2006, The Boys follows a group of superpowered CIA agents who keep a watch on any superheroes who have gone rogue.

Supernatural creator Eric Kripke is set to write the TV series adaptation.
