Despite a valiant effort, The Brave TV show has been cancelled by NBC. In this instance, the 13-episode first season wasn’t a sign of certain cancellation, as a shorter season aways the plan for this series. In November, after some early gains in the Nielsens, the Peacock Network was even touting the show’s ratings, but they later dropped off and weren’t strong enough to score a season two renewal.
An NBC military drama, The Brave stars Anne Heche, Mike Vogel, Natacha Karam, Demetrius Grosse, Noah Mills, Hadi Tabbal, Tate Ellington, and Sofia Pernas. The series centers on Captain Adam Dalton (Vogel) who leads his Special Ops squad on dangerous field missions across the globe. Back in their Washington D.C. headquarters, D.I.A. Deputy Director Patricia Campbell (Heche) oversees the unit which provides support and analysis for Dalton and company.

The Brave cancellation has been confirmed by Deadline, which notes three military dramas premiered on broadcast networks, this year. Although both The Brave and Valor (The CW) were cancelled, SEAL Team was renewed for a second season on CBSCBS.

NBC made a giant mistake in cancelling The Brave. I liked it better than Seal Team.

So incredibly disappointed that The Brave has been cancelled. It is a great show giving the viewer a sense of the ethos of different cultures. I watch online and am missing it. Great actors, plot, effects, storylines, scenery… I even rewatch

This makes me so mad and sad!! This show made me have a whole new respect for the military and how the writers came up with the show absolutely amazing!! My heart is broken

I’ve watched military-type shows since I was a kid. I’m now 58. The Brave was most definitely one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Every week I was right in front of my TV waiting for to come on. Big mistake by the network to cancel this show. Totally got this one wrong…

This was a Great show! I like it better than Seals. What a shame. NBC didn’t even give this show a chance….shame on them!
This series was a very well written program. Actors were believable and the science behind this show is on spot. The Network let the series down by not averting and promoting the team to the public.

You Canceled the wrong show! BRAVE was better that SEALS. Your ratings boxes are in the wrong homes or your not up on the viewing habits of the 18 to 60 year olds. Yes, no typo, 18-60
I’m a CBS girl but tuned in every week to watch The Brave. I loved it so much better than Seal Team. It was my favorite new show last season. I am sorry to see it go. 🙁
Bravo was my first pick for renewal, Seal Team my 2nd, what shame, great show! Having a grandson on deployment this show really had our attention!
