There are plenty of ways for the show to go. I myself thought there was a great chance Joe could still be alive. Hire me as a writer and I could do amazing things with this story line! Ryan begins to hunt down killers, becoming a killer himself. Joe comes back because the doctor that done administered the lethal injections was in fact a Follower. There are so many directions this show can go! Don’t leave all this questions go unanswered. Bring it back!!
I really don’t get why people are so upset about The Following being cancelled. Don’t get me wrong, it was a great show for the first season and still pretty decent for the second. The is last season however has not been good and now that Joe is gone there’s really nowhere left to go. I mean, who are people supposed to be “following” now? Theo? Mark? Daisy? I don’t think so. Well I do agree about Joe. Once they killed him off there was no one to take his place. Best villain ever.
Can’t believe they cancelled “The Following”. Great show and I’m hoping another network is smart enough to pick them up!

How can Fox cancel “The following”?, one of the best shows fox had going for them. I think all of us Following fans need to ask another network to pick it up. Fox should have tried moving it around to find the spot. The show was full of suspenseful, and very much entertaining. I just loved it. I came on the scene late, I did not watch the first two seasons, and yet I was able to jump right into it. I’m sad about this.
Please renew the show Backstrom. It was a great show!!! We loved all the characters. It was one of the funniest shows we have seen. I can’t believe that you renewed some of the other shows and kicked it off. We are tired of the reality tv shows and sci-fi.

Cannot believe they canceled this show! The following was one of the vbest,bye bye Fox.
Nooooooo! Why did Fox cancel the Following? This is the very reason why I will never follow (ha ha) another show on Fox. Its all about ratings and blah blah blah but what about the viewers who do watch!? I am part of the 3.58 million who tune in EVERY week and I am very saddened by this news. Fox will always be a struggling network because of decisions like this. Good bye Fox.
Ditto on the following I stopped watching fox years ago and then came the following. Change the time slot it was against the voice and dtws. Very disappointed Will now go back to not watching Fox. Also I’m not alone at least 5 friends were watching too this is the first time I ever wrote a tv station before. You could have put it on another night!

By the graph above, it appears FOX is truly hanging on a thread. What happened to this network? And with a wide open schedule, Backstrom SHOULD and COULD have been given another season. I admit, I nearly dropped it at Episode 5, so annoying is the title character. But, as they went on, I was so happy I hung in there. I am stunned that THE FOLLOWING is being cancelled! I have been drawn into this dark show and have seen these characters develop over the past three years. I can’t believe FOX would drop a show of this quality and suspense and yet keep some of the simple minded garbage that is run… I will miss Ryan and Joe —- total nonsense to give up this show…

I hate to see Backstrom canceled and shows that have long since reached their prime getting renewed (Bones). Backstrom was refreshing. Bones has gotten rather tiresome.
PLEASE don’t cancel Backstrom. It took an episode or two to become close to the characters but I am completely hooked. Don’t cancel anymore good shows & replace them with crap.
the following is such an amazing show, probably the best ive ever watched. its so suspenseful and unlike other shows it does not drag on with the same exact story, we are often introduced to new characters and finding out new things, which is why i find this show to be so much better than other shows like Pretty little liars which has carried out the same story line for many seasons now.
