There’s still magic in the air at The CW. The smallest broadcast network has renewed the Charmed TV series for a fourth year which will air as part of the 2021-22 television season. Just two episodes of the third season have aired thus far.
The Charmed TV show stars Melonie Diaz, Madeleine Mantock, Sarah Jeffery, Rupert Evans, Poppy Drayton, and Jordan Donica. A reboot of the 1998 series, the show follows three sisters (Diaz, Jeffery, and Mantock) who discover they are witches in the wake of their mother’s murder. Soon, this powerful threesome must stand together to harness “The Power of Three” and protect humanity from the demons that prowl the earth. In season three, the “Charmed Ones” and their whitelighter, Harry (Evans), continue their battle with The Faction — a cabal of humans trying to steal magic for themselves.
Airing on Sunday nights, the third season of Charmed averages a 0.10 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 440,000 viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 41% in the demo and down by 31% in viewership. As live+same day ratings keep dropping for most network shows, The CW continues to focus on streaming and other revenue sources.
“Though we’re just a few weeks into the new season, we wanted to get a strategic head start on next season with these early renewals, which allows our production teams to start laying out story arcs and hiring staff, and at the same time, continues to provide us with a strong, stable schedule to build on for next season,” said Mark Pedowitz, Chairman and CEO, The CW Network.
The CW also renewed 11 other TV shows today — All American (season four), Batwoman (season three), DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (season seven), Dynasty (season five), The Flash (season eight), In the Dark (season four), Legacies (season four), Nancy Drew (season three), Riverdale (season six), Roswell, New Mexico (season four), and Walker (season two).

I have seen the reboot of charmed the first and the second episode on Netflix in the first episode of charmed when Sarah Jeffery from descendants and Mel D Found out there mother just dead just like the original charmed but in the original charmed there mother was a ghost I remember when the mother favorite line was the power of three. I think the reboot of charmed will go far into season maybe four
Lose the female empowerment! The girls never have fun it’s one crisis after another, they are always STRESSED out, they never laugh live love give it a rest already. The og was great they had a life, they were funny and real. Their connection as sister’s was real, these ladies could pass at maybe being best friends. To the writers do better!!!!
I love this show, but I would like to see other male witches on stage, not just female witches, even a gay man who is on stage as a man who comes from a matriarchal family where only women have powers and one born with powers. , but in general terms I liked it a lot
I dont know about nobody else but i absolutely love the new show charmed and i love watching it over and over again..i just brought season 3 last night on amazon and i watched the whole ten episodes…I am a little upset that it was only ten..i hope that sean four is gonna start really soon…i am also very happy that it was renewed for this year..and next…so please HURRY UP AND START SHOWING IT PLEASE AND TRY AND MAKE THE SEASON LONG LIKE THE FIRST 2.. We are not getting the best from the reboot. The reboot has been rewarded for it and yet the og has been ignored (taken off Netflix). All we have been getting is a magical (moon) pandemic and a moon poppy (just a poppy).
I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons of the re-boot! But the last episode was senseless! The writers need to pick up the tempo. I don’t want to see this show get canceled! More fun and stronger scripts
Like the show, but slow down in the OG the girls had fun made us laugh, there doesn’t always have to be e d of the world mess. Relax have fun. I ABOUSTLEY love Macy she is my favorite, in the OG Piper was fav,just glad going to have season 4.
I enjoy “Charmed (2018). It began as my gilty pleasure. It’s a fact that tv series didn’t have much quality, but it has begun to a interesting tv serie that enjoying every week. I’m glad to have a four season. I be sorry about the confrontation between the actress of both tv series and the media only see the tv series acording to the begining and in negative comparisson with the legendary tv series.
