Created and produced by Ava DuVernay, Cherish the Day is a dramatic anthology TV series. It revolves around a different couple each season and each episode spans a single day.
The season-long narrative unfolds to reveal significant moments in a relationship that compel partners to hold true to the ones they love, from the extraordinary to the everyday.
In the first season, Gently James (Roquemore), a well-traveled caregiver from the West Adams district, and software engineer Evan Fisher (Miller) have a chance meeting and fall in love in Los Angeles.

Evan & Gently together! Time to start a family.
I simply love this show. The story line was very well put together. I hope it continues. I am not sure how I will enjoy a new couple. I fell in love with Gently and Evan. The story gripped me and I was very tied into, connected to Gently and Evan getting back together. I want to see more of them.
I have throughly enjoyed this program. I was disappointed that I couldn’t see it. THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN GENTLY AND EVAN WAS AWESOME!! I was so hurt to find out 2 years later they had divorced and gone their separate ways. This couldn’t be happening. I know it is for our entertainment. Whatever happens PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL THIS SERIES!!!
I was devasted when I found out they divorced in episode 8. The love between Evan and Lovely is real and natural. It reminds me of the 80’s romance. I hope they can reconnect and make it better the second time around. No matter how much u love someone, there will always be obstacles that shows up.
They both have deep connection and chemistry for each other. Please do not cancel this show, it gives me motivation in love.
