The O’Brien family’s story comes to an end in the sixth season of the Chesapeake Shores TV show on Hallmark Channel. As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Chesapeake Shores is cancelled or renewed for season seven (in this case, we know it’s ending). Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the sixth season episodes of Chesapeake Shores here.
A Hallmark Channel family drama, the Chesapeake Shores TV series stars Robert Buckley, Meghan Ory, Treat Williams, Laci J. Mailey, Emilie Ullerup, Brendan Penny, and Andrew Francis. The store explores the lives of the O’Brien family, after the homecoming of eldest daughter Abby O’Brien (Ory), a high-powered career woman and divorced mother of two. In season six, the O’Brien family comes together in the aftermath of Connor’s (Francis) heart attack. Jess (Maily) and David (Carlo Marks) start to deal with the media fallout after Dennis Peck (Malcolm Stewart) goes on the run, and lean on one another for support. Abby finally reveals to her family who she called at the end of season five and this leads to an unexpected yet exciting first date. Meanwhile, Mandrake (Wesley Salter) and Kevin (Penny) talk about their difficult past.
What do you think? Which season six episodes of the Chesapeake Shores TV series do you rate as wonderful, terrible, or somewhere between? Do you think that Chesapeake Shores should have been renewed for a seventh season on Hallmark Channel?
One of the better shows on Hallmark and it gets canceled. To say it’s run it’s course is not right…how many books were in the series there is still plenty to tell.
Love this show I keep re watching it start to finish.
One of the best family value shows out there, not many left or that last.
It should not end!!!!
Love ❤️ this show!!
Most definitely should Season 7,8, 9, 10, ……. get the message???
Please don’t cancel Chesapeake Shores
I love Chesapeake Shores. Big mistake canceling it. One of the best you have had. Too much time in between series. Also wondering what is going on with Murder Mystery Series. You have some very good ones – Murder 101, Allison Sweeny’s, Jessie Metcalf to name a few. New ones not the quality of the previous ones. Please continue with these and don’t change your format. Murder 101 is the very best.
I have watched Chesapeake Shores from the beginning and have loved every bit of the series. The show should most definitely continue and Hallmark never should have canceled it to start with, just like they never should have canceled the many other shows and movie series that they have been canceling !!!!!!!
Not a big fan of the changes Hallmark has been making at all !!!! At least they still have some common sense to show the good movies that they used to make so those can still be enjoyed.
For sure want Chesapeake to keep going.. love the show
Love Chesapeake Shores a great family show. There should be a 7th season it seems like they are always getting rid of the good shows. It is a family oriented show we need more like it
Please renew Chesapeake shores. I love this show.
Love Chesapeake Shores- so happy it’s back- would love to see a seventh season
To good of a show to cancel. Renew the show!
I agree 100% tired of Hallmark canceling all the best shows they had. That’s what people WANTED and they took them away especially the mysteries.
I watch very little TV but I never miss Chesapeake Shores. Please do not cancel it.
Love Chesapeake Shores ♥️
Please renew Chesapeake Shores.
Yes they should not cancel it!! It’s one of the better shows out there!!!!
I used to love this show. The reason I changed my mind is because TRACE left whether by his choice or the producers. Not the same without him. And the actress who plays JESS is a total whiner! I mute whenever her scene comes up.
The writers just aren’t putting out quality scripts. This show had such great potential. I guess it has reached the end of its life expectancy. Too bad!
I love this show. So sorry to see it go!
