Dick Wolf’s Chicago franchise shows no signs of slowing down. Today, it was revealed that NBC had renewed Chicago Med for a third season.
The medical drama is set at Chicago’s new state-of-the-art trauma center and revolves around the doctors, nurses, and staff members who treat the most severe trauma cases. The cast includes Oliver Platt, S. Epatha Merkerson, Nick Gehlfuss, Yaya DaCosta, Colin Donnell, Brian Tee, Torrey DeVitto, Rachel DiPillo, and Marlyne Barrett.
Chicago Med has been a steady performer for NBC over the past two seasons. Despite a drop in ratings, season two averaged a decent 1.24 in the 18-49 demo and 6.65 million viewers, making it one of the network’s most-watched series for the 2016-2017 season.
Sister series Chicago Fire and Chicago PD were also renewed today but there’s no word on Chicago Justice yet.

Chicago Fire and Chicago Med are my favorite shows. Like both of them alot better than Chicago PD. However I do watch it too. I really don’t want you to cancel Med.

While I have become tired of Chicago Fire, I thoroughly enjoy Chicago Med and Chicago PD and hope both continue for many more seasons
While I have become tired of Chicago Fire, I thoroughly enjoy Chicago Med and sincerely hope it continues for several more seasons. Same goes for Chicago PD. Way more enjoyable than many other cop shows out there

I love to watch Chicago Fire, PD, Med, Justice. The first three or my favorites. In the order I put them. Always look forward to them coming on. But really I don’t like NBC personally, I only watch these shows and Days of Our Lives. I wish y’all could put aside y’alls personal political views and report TRUTH and the rest of MSM.
I love all the Chicago shows… But I am very sad that Sophia Bush left last yr.. I really loved her character and her and Jay were so good together. Looking forward to seeing Chicago fire, med, and PD… Will miss Justice…
