It’s back to the streets of Chicago for NBC. Today, it was revealed that the network has renewed Chicago PD for a fifth season.
From executive producer Dick Wolf, the cop drama follows the men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s District 21 who pursue the perpetrators of major street crimes in the “Windy City.” The cast includes Sophia Bush, Patrick John Flueger, LaRoyce Hawkins, Elias Koteas, Jon Seda, Jesse Lee Soffer, Marina Squerciati, and Amy Morton.
Four seasons in and Chicago PD is still doing well on NBC. Season four pulled in an average rating of 1.38 in the 18-49 demo and 6.56 million viewers, making it one of the network’s top three series for the 2016-2017 in terms of demo ratings. It looks like fans don’t want to leave Chicago anytime soon.
Sister series Chicago Fire and Chicago Med were also renewed today but there’s no word on Chicago Justice yet.

ABSOLUTELY love all the “Chicago” shows but Chicago PD is my favorite. My daughter and I watch faithfully and have bought all seasons available on DVD. Hank and Al are my heros!!!
I love Chicago PD and Chicago Fire. Med is hit or miss by itself, but I love when they tie the 3 shows together. I’m not sold on Chicago Justice, but I wish they’d send Antonio back to PD. He’s my favorite.

The Chicago shows are my favorite. I love them all, I almost flipped when I saw the headline. Thought it was being canceled. Idk what I would do. Lol

PD awsome! Fantastic actors, gripping stories, nice plot twists except for linstead! Chicago Justice is great as well.

My wife & I are 60 plus years old viewers. We never miss PD, Fire, & Med. can’t say we like Justice all that much but I guess it could grow on you
