New York [June 27, 2018] Real estate and house flipping expert Christina El Moussa, best known from HGTV’s hit series Flip or Flop, has signed a deal for a new original series with the network. The eight-episode series titled Christina on the Coast will showcase Christina as she expands her design business in Southern California. In the series, Christina will transform clients’ outdated properties into high-end showplaces. It also will put the spotlight on her personal journey after her split with husband Tarek. As Christina searches for the perfect new home to start afresh while balancing parenthood, career and a new relationship, cameras will follow her. Christina on the Coast is set to premiere in 1Q 2019.
“Design is my favorite part of the house-flipping process and I can’t wait to be able to now work directly with clients and create a space they’ve always dreamed of having,” said Christina.
“Christina’s design style is very popular, so it’s a natural progression for us to expand her visibility with a new series,” said Allison Page, president, HGTV and Food Network. “Her fans also are deeply vested in her personal life and eager to see ‘what happens next’ – so we’re bringing them the opportunity to share in these real-life moments in a way that no one else can.”
Tarek El Moussa is also in discussions to develop a potential new series with HGTV.
“The past few years have brought a lot of change into my life and I am so excited to see what the next stage has in store for me both professionally and personally, there is so much to look forward to and this is only the beginning,” said Christina.”
What do you think? Do you watch Flip or Flop? Will you check out Christina on the Coast?
Christina on the Coast is a joke of the show most of it is just spent following her around she barely does any actual design worst show ever!
This is more just a show about her flaunting her extravagant lifestyle and her new husband.
Please HGTV cancel this one!
People watching HGTV aren’t tuning in to see some phony rich gal tear up a perfectly beautiful swimming pool because it doesn’t “have character”. Haven’t the producers considered that most of the people watching may not even have a pool let alone sympathize that it wasn’t fancy enough for her? She belongs on a one of the Housewives shows not on HGTV. There is so little to do with decorating anymore but the personal saga of someone who gained an audience because she’s pretty and was married to a good looking man, she cheats on the man creating drama in… Read more »
I did enjoy watching this show. Since their divorce I haven’t paid attention to all the gossip rag papers. I enjoyed them both equally!
Won’t be watching her show either. Her personality is not likable. Doesn’t seem to do any hard work.
Did not like Christina new show. Promo big turn off.
Did not watch Flip or Flop towards the end and certainly will not be watching Christina On The Coast. Her promo is a big turn off.
Watched Flip or Flop for awhile, but got very tired of the repetition on every home. The surprise that they had termites, or fleas, or bees…..the foundation issues…..the permit issues….going over budget. They really showed no evidence that they knew about flipping homes. Christina added very little value to the show. I won’t be watching the new Christina on the coast at all. More importantly, I am already really sick of the stupid promos for it!
Can’t wait for the new Flip or Flop series! As far as the “Christina” show…not interested. Waiting for Tarek’s new show.
I don’t enjoy Tarek and Christina now. Too argumentative and tense. Christina, is the design talent. Would love to see her in her own show, without the divorce baggage. People tune in for good personalities and design.
I love Flip or Flop and will definitely watch for Christine’s new show, would also love to see Tarek get a new show
I definitely will NOT watch anything with Christina. Hate that show!!!
Looks like someone forgot to delete the personal attacks! I have loved this show since it began. Even like the re-runs. I appreciate that they have had to work their marriage issues. It only shows they’re human. I don’t read the gossip rags and do not have a need to dig around in someone’s personal business. I like the shows and what each of them bring to it. So glad they’ve been re-newed and can’t wait to see Christina’s new show!
I have already discontinued watching their series. I have no interest in seeing how they treat each other and professionally on TV. There is plenty other shows to watch. I am interested in home improvements not daytime soaps
I agree, her television persona comes off as shallow like Barbie doll and she seems to play most of the time instead of putting in hard work. Talk to any number of working divorced mothers and they do not relate to spa days and seemingly no issues for child-care. My sympathies are with Tarek, who battled cancer twice only to have a two-timing wife. Some role-model. And I hardly call Christina a “flipping expert” as many time she spends way too much money for the rate of return and sales seems to happen despite her rather than her contributions. Many… Read more »
TV Watcher took the words right out of my mouth!!!
I agree TV Watcher. Tarek did all the work. Who comes to a job site dressed like she is going to a party?
Why, she brings nothing.
no dont like her
Agree
I also don’t like her attitude. Too smug. I am a fan of her ex.
