Did you catch last week’s premiere of Colony, season two, on USA Network? Carlton Cuse hopes so. He and co-creator Ryan Condal reset the sci-fi alien invasion drama, to create an easy entry point for new viewers. In addition, they’re not just looking forward to a third season. Cuse and Condal are already talking about plot points that will occur in seasons five and six.
Taking place in the near-future, Colony features an Earth where citizens are under military occupation by the Colony Transitional Authority — part of a large invading force of extraterrestrial origin. Josh Holloway, Sarah Wayne Callies, Peter Jacobson, Amanda Righetti, Tory Kittles, Alex Neustaedter, and Isabella Crovetti star.
Carlton Cuse Plans for at Least Six Seasons of Colony on USA Network
The former Lost showrunner already has plans for season three and far beyond on USA Network. Here’s more from THR:
Speaking of season three, it’s certainly early days as we’re only speaking about the season two premiere. But are you and Ryan looking far enough down the line that you’re already discussing season three?
Absolutely. We have talked in general about stuff that would happen in season five or season six. We have a big-picture plan. We have talked about season three in quite a lot of detail. I’m hoping that we get to make this show for a long time.

I love this show so much! I watch it every week. It’s one of the most exciting shows on tv today. I love the story line. I even went to see their panel at Comic Con last year. Please please don’t cancel.
I love the Colony. I pray to god that it is renewed for as many seasons as can come. I watch it every week and I hate that there are so many commercials because it cuts time out of such a wonderful show. I am always so excited for Thursday nights only because I know that my favorite show in the whole world Colony is coming on. Please keep it coming for many more seasons.

I love the Colony. I am a 48 year old female and watch a wide variety of television shows. This is my favorite show. The Colony has great actors and is very exciting. I can’t wait for the new episodes each week. Please do not cancel this show.
Awesome show. Watched both season. I’m outside your demographics. Am 56 female and disabled. So my tv shows are important to me. Sure hope it renews season3!

You MUST renew this show for a number of seasons to come. I watch it on Thursday nights and if I miss it I watch it on USA NOW.. I am so psyched about ‘COLONY’ . If USA doesn’t renew it, PLEASE find another network. Its got to be my favorite show, I can only imagine the potential that this show has.. It can go all the way to space and back.. Season 2 isn’t even over yet, and I am so ready for season 3.. Thank you for a fantastic story..
I am loving season 2! Watched it before TWD this week (that’s a big deal cuz I love walking dead). But this show is really nailing it right now.

I LOVE “Colony”!! Not just the actors, although I adore Josh Holloway (watched every single episode of “LOST” ! And Sara Callies is fabulous…All the actors are really good and I WANT a season 3!! Please give it a chance to catch on…Walking Dead is declining and this may rise up to be a winner!!
Colony is my FAVORITE show! It’s brilliant and the acting is phenomenal! I’m greatly looking forward to season 3 and many more to come.
Unless they are willing to run 2 seasons a year, I may not be around for the end of a 6 season show. They should bring it back in November.
Why won’t you be around?? Are you losing cable?? Are you sick. Don’t just make a statement like that and not think people won’t care.
