Are you enjoying the first season of The Conners TV show on ABC — even without Roseanne Barr? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Conners is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of The Conners season one episodes here. *Status update below.
An ABC sitcom, The Conners stars John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson, Michael Fishman, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, Jayden Rey, and Maya Lynne Robinson. Guest stars in season one include Estelle Parsons, James Pickens Jr., Natalie West, Johnny Galecki, and Juliette Lewis. A spin-off of the cancelled TV series Roseanne, the sitcom follows the working-class family of Roseanne and Dan Conner (Goodman) including their three children Becky (Goranson), Darlene (Gilbert), and D.J. (Fishman), as well as Roseanne’s sister, Jackie Harris (Metcalf). No matter what challenges they meet in Lanford, Illinois (including the loss of matriarch Roseanne), the Conners endure thanks to their persistence, humor, and most of all — love.

You kill the star of the show, shows over. Why would you want to watch.
Bring Roseann back from the dead or Conner’s Show will die with her. She should never have gotten fired in the first place. The show sucks without her in it.

Sorry, didnt do it, show wasnt very good, turned it off 20 minutes into it. ABC made a very big mistake, 2, 1 firing Roseanne and 2 renewing without her. Wont watch again!
Whomever fired Roseanne should be fired! Rosanne MADE the show! Maybe a lil tolerance and forgiveness should have been shown to her? The woman suffers from mental illness and apoligized. Now we are subjected to this new show. I miss wise cracking sarcastic Roseanne and will not be watching further. Shame on the cast for throwing her under the bus.
Now they have taught our children that if you apologize or if you have mental illness it does not matter.. none will back you up. I taught my kids to never forget where you came from & they don’t but it looks like ABC & the cast from Roseanne did….
Not he same without the main character! Will find something else!
Many shows have made it after losing a main character, and tons of spin-offs have been successful, so there is potential after getting past the dark period. I think everyone should give it a chance.
No one in my family or my friends will watch “Darlene”, we loved Roseanne, she was fresh and honest. We have no interest in watching a bunch of empty suits who piled on, backstabbing the woman who gave them a career because it was politically correct to lie about her. No thanks.
Not going to watch this show. Rosanne made the show and without her it is just a shell of a show. The messed up firing her.

What a joke, and not a funny one either. I would never watch this show without Roseanne. They totally ruined it.
The origins of The Connors is based on a character they fired…c’mon folks. If you took Andy Griffith out of his show would it still have exist? Jerry Seinfeld out of Seinfeld? The Connors was not funny (as they advertised, was somber, and ultimately weak.
