Another television series has crossed over to the great beyond. The Crossing TV show on ABC has been cancelled after one season. The thriller, which made its debut on April 3rd, premiered with low ratings, and things only got worse from there.
An ABC sci-fi drama, The Crossing stars Steve Zahn, Natalie Martinez, Sandrine Holt, Georgina Haig, Tommy Bastow, Rob Campbell, Rick Gomez, Marcuis W. Harris, Grant Harvey, Jay Karnes, Simone Kessell, Kelley Missal, Luc Roderique, and Bailey Skodje, with Luke Camilleri recurring. The story unfolds in the small Oregon fishing town of Port Canaan, when 47 evacuees from a war-torn country wash up on the shore. The newcomers aren’t just any refugees seeking asylum — they’re Americans from 180 years in the future.

I love the show. I’m surprised and disappointed that it has been cancelled. Maybe Netflix will pick it up. I can’t grt enough of it.
This is why I usually just watch shows that already have several seasons… I hate investing all this time just to lose the pleasure of getting a satisfying conclusion.

I agree, theses stations start a show you like it and they take it off just because some of us don’t like reality tv or the bachelor etc.
Also l like the show deception and guess what its being cancelled same for scorpion…
An intriguing concept requiring a small production budget. SyFy should acquire the series. It boasts appealing characters and a fascinating unfolding plot.
I LOVE THIS SHOW! Should be put in a 12 week summer slot. So who do we send emails to for this show to continue.? Great show, interesting concept, great writing and some damn good acting. I say we all “Jericho” ABC!!!
I really liked the show. It was an unusual theme for a Syfy series. Even if the series does not continue into season 2, someone should pick up the idea and make it into a movie. If it were based on an actual book, I would be the first one to go out and buy a copy.
I would’ve renewed the show. It’s AMAZING and a fresh change. About time we get a new storyline and they cancel it. not cool abc NOT COOL
This show has so much potential. Original story line with so many ways for it to develop. Hope another network picks it up or Netflix can grab this future hit!!

That absolutely blows. It’s hard to want to invest my time in new shows when they just keep getting cancelled after the first season. Newsflash ABC, not every show is going to stack up to greys anatomy when it first airs. Let people become invested in it. Netflix, if you’re reading this, please pick this show up.
Bad move, this series has great potential. Very few series holds my attention like The Crossing has.

Another loss in the worth my time for TV viewing category. Sad that the network that brought me Lost so many years ago, totally gives up on anything that might provoke thoughtful viewing in it’s audience with so many possibilities for such a great ensemble cast. Too bad ABC!
