Another television series has crossed over to the great beyond. The Crossing TV show on ABC has been cancelled after one season. The thriller, which made its debut on April 3rd, premiered with low ratings, and things only got worse from there.
An ABC sci-fi drama, The Crossing stars Steve Zahn, Natalie Martinez, Sandrine Holt, Georgina Haig, Tommy Bastow, Rob Campbell, Rick Gomez, Marcuis W. Harris, Grant Harvey, Jay Karnes, Simone Kessell, Kelley Missal, Luc Roderique, and Bailey Skodje, with Luke Camilleri recurring. The story unfolds in the small Oregon fishing town of Port Canaan, when 47 evacuees from a war-torn country wash up on the shore. The newcomers aren’t just any refugees seeking asylum — they’re Americans from 180 years in the future.

I agree with the others here. This is a show full of intrigue & suspense. My husband & I were soooooo looking forward to season 2 because it is a show that is not mind numbing like Bachelorette, etc. Or other shows that should not even be on TV to give the “wackos” out there ideas like all of the reality junk like Buried In Your Back Yard, 24 Hours, etc. It is a great mix of SciFi without being completely out there like Marvel Comics & it is not full of foul language & constant sex. I LOVE the crossing! I was looking forward to the second season. Several Zahn was terrific. PLEASE bring it back for season 2!

Once again ABC gets rid of another good family show!! I really enjoyed this new series! It was full of intrigue, suspense and talented actors!! BRING BACK THE SHOW!!! We are tired of shows not getting a fighting chance. It is frustrating for viewers who get involved and invested in watching the show. Maybe a bit more advertising and coming attractions would attract more viewers. The Crossing is a great show. The storyline has so many ways to go. Why is it that all the good shows get cancelled and the dumb “reality” show continue?? Bring the show back!!!
Wish ABC did not cancel. Maybe SiFi or another station will pick it up. It seems to have a large fan base.

This was a great show! There is so much more plot to be explored. Good dramas are hard to come by – and mindless sitcoms are flooding the airwaves. It figures that ones that require some thought are the ones that are cut.
I usually only pick 2 or 3 shows that I consider “must see” and fro me The Crossing was one of those. My wife and I couldn’t wait to find the time to watch it together. Please give it another season to draw in more viewer!
The Crossing is an incredibly good show. They needed to advertise it more. Many people that would have loved the show didn’t even know about it. I wish they would reconsider or sell the show to another network.

I love this show! I think it is fantastic. I can’t believe they are going to cancel this show. Some of the shows that made it are just junk as far as I’m concerned. Is there any way we can stop the show from being cancelled?
The Crossing is a great show… can’t believe ABC cancelled it! It seems that happens to a lot of new shows before giving it a chance to catch on. Bummer!
The Crossing is a great show. Just finished the finale and was looking forward to the next season. Am very disappointed that it is cancelled. We’re tired of this happening on network TV. This is making us consider canceling our cable and just getting the streaming stations.
